Immunological features of acute postoperative inflammation of the nasal mucosa in patients undergoing edonasal surgery

Postoperative rhinitis has been characterized by an important local mucosal inflammation. The aim of this study was to measure the cytokines involved in the postoperative rhinitis, describe the immunological stages of that condition. We also investigated whether there was a difference between patients with traditional postoperative care and patients with using the wound covering dressing IL-1 beta receptor antagonist (IL-1 RA). Study included 50 patients with traditional management of postoperative period and 46 patients with using the wound covering dressing IL-1 beta receptor antagonist. Plasma and nasal lavage concentrations of interleukin-1 beta (IL-1 beta), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8) were measured. We observed nasal lavage levels of proinflammatory cytokines were increased in both groups and it was significantly higher than levels studied cytokines in plasma (p < 0.001). Cytokines of nasal lavage reached its maximum levels on the 3-d day after surgery. By 7-th day levels of cytokines have decreased, but still remained higher than before the surgery.С целью определения иммунологических характеристик раннего операционного воспаления у пациентов, перенесших плановые внутриносовые хирургические вмешательства, были определены уровни провоспалительных цитокинов назальной слизи у 96 пациентов. В основную группу вошли пациенты, у которых в качестве послеоперационного ведения применялись раневые покрытия, содержащие рецепторный антагонист ИЛ-1. В группу контроля-пациенты с традиционным способом послеоперационного ведения. В результате проведенного исследования выявлены иммунологические особенности течения послеоперационного ринита у разных групп пациентов

Role of the hemocoagulation system in the pathogenesis of sensorineural hearing loss

The modern approach to the diagnosis of lesions of the hearing requires a comprehensive examination of the patient, including the study of the function of the sound-conducting and sound-receiving systems, vestibular analyzer, the study of blood clotting and liver function, assessment of the cardiovascular, excretory and endocrine systems, which makes it possible to establish the cause of the disease and develop the most effective therapeutic tactics. The aim of the study is to determine the role of hemocoagulation disorders in the development of sensorineural hearing loss. This article presents an analysis of the blood coagulation system in patients with sensorineural hearing loss, who were treated for this disease in MAU GKB 40. Summing up, it can be said that in all patients with perceptual hearing impairment there was a proportional increase in the hemocoagulation system, which confirms the significance of the vascular origin of hearing loss in most people and its paramount importance in the development of the disease.Современный подход к диагностике поражений органа слуха требует проведения комплексного обследования больного, включающего исследование функции звукопроводящей и звуковоспринимающей систем, вестибулярного анализатора, изучение показателей свертывающей системы крови и функции печени, оценку состояния сердечно-сосудистой, выделительной и эндокринной систем, что дает возможность установить причину заболевания и выработать наиболее эффективную лечебную тактику. Целью исследования является определить роль нарушения гемокоагуляции в развитии сенсоневральной тугоухости. В данной статье представлен анализ показателей свертывающей системы крови у пациентов с сенсоневральной тугоухостью, которые проходили лечение по данной патологии в МАУ «ГКБ № 40». Подводя итог, можно сказать, что у всех пациентов с перцептивным нарушением слуха наблюдалось пропорциональное повышение показателей гемокоагуляционной системы, что подтверждает значимость сосудистого генеза тугоухости у большинства лиц и его первостепенное значение в развитии данного заболевания
