As the world continues to face the challenges of environmental degradation and climate change, there is an increasing demand for sustainable practices in all sectors of society, including the education sector. Nigerian universities have a significant role in promoting sustainable development practices, including green office practices. The effective communication of these practices is crucial to driving sustainable behaviour among university staff and students. This research explores innovative methods for communicating green office practices in Nigerian universities that can contribute to sustainable economic growth. This study further identifies that green offices are being set up across Nigeria to enhance climate change education and communication, achieving sustainable economic growth and development. It also highlights the concept and numerous benefits of green offices across various higher education institutions in Nigeria. It concludes with a clarion call for the multi-stakeholder partnership to enhance green office practices and climate change communication across various Universities in Nigeria, thereby achieving sustainable economic growth.                                       &nbsp

Green Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Environmental Photography for Sustainable Development in Nigeria

Nigeria is a country which has the abundance of human and natural resources, including skills and talents which are needed to maximize her green entrepreneurial opportunities. This study explores the green entrepreneurial opportunities in environmental photography for sustainable development in Nigeria. It highlights the fact that recognizing and maximizing the green entrepreneurial opportunities in environmental photography is a climate change adaptation and mitigation strategy to ensure sustainable development in Nigeria. Enhancing Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Nigeria: The Green Office Concept

In Nigeria, where the devastating effects of climate change are already being felt, green offices can play a crucial role in driving sustainability and enhancing green entrepreneurship. This study identified the green office concept as a model for building a sustainable environmental management system across communities, cities and campuses in Nigeria. It further identified that the green office concept which involves the use of natural resources to create eco-friendly working conditions will enable the entrepreneurs to achieve sustainability in Nigeria. This study identified some benefits of green offices and how green finance can help enhance green entrepreneurship in Nigeria. It further identified that the green offices will play a major part in enhancing green entrepreneurship and mitigating the negative impacts of climate change in Nigeria. It also recommended green leadership, green creativity and green entrepreneurship as strategies to help enhance sustainable entrepreneurship in Nigeria. THE ROLE OF GREEN ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS IN ENHANCING PRODUCTION ECONOMY IN NIGERIA

The national hunger, poverty, and unemployment challenges have motivated individuals and groups to float their business enterprises to achieve better living conditions. There is a clarion call to move the nation from an economy of consumption to production, enhancing Nigeria's good health and well-being through entrepreneurship education. Through literature review, participant observation, and data collection from relevant agencies, this study identified the role of green entrepreneurial skills in enhancing the production economy in Nigeria. It identified that green entrepreneurial skills will help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1,2, 4, and 13. This study defined the concept of entrepreneurship and green entrepreneurship. It further highlighted that entrepreneurial skills aim primarily to produce competent, skillful, and dynamic entrepreneurs who will effectively compete in the world of work. It also identified green entrepreneurial skills as necessary amidst the global challenges of climate change, thereby enhancing the production economy. The implementation of the findings of the study would help strengthen entrepreneurship and enhance the production economy in Nigeria. It concluded with the benefits of green entrepreneurship and a clarion call for further research on the role of green entrepreneurial skills in enhancing the production economy in Nigeria.                 &nbsp

The Psychological Benefits Of Poetry And Its Innovative Use in Green Entrepreneurship in Nigeria

Poetry has always been associated with intensity of emotions expressed in literary form with a sense of rhythm and beauty. This study identifies poetry as a valuable tool which can be used in promoting green entrepreneurship for sustainable economic growth and environmental safety in Nigeria. It also identifies poetry as a valuable tool which can be used in climate change education across various communities, cities, and countries in Africa. Climate change is one of the global issues which we must of necessity tackle with urgency in order to prevent a global warming too unbearable for the survival of mankind. The objective of this paper is to highlight the psychological benefits of poetry on individuals, communities and institutions in Nigeria. It further highlights how poetry is being used innovatively in climate change education in Nigeria to achieve the sustainable development goals. Through our literature review and participant observation, it has been discovered there is an urgent need to educate communities and institutions about the impacts of climate change and ways to adapt and mitigate for global sustainability. This paper is therefore very significant as it explores new opportunities, practices and benefits in the innovative use of poetry for climate change education and enhancing environmental health, environmental safety, sustainable economic growth and development in Nigeria

The Role of The World Bank Group in Green Financing to Enhance Green Entrepreneurship in Nigeria

The World Bank Group is one of the World’s largest sources of funding for developing countries especially in the fight against poverty. Each institution of the World Bank Group plays a distinct role in the mission to fight poverty and improve living standards for people in the developing world. This study identified poverty as one of the major problems caused by the negative impacts of climate change leading to major disasters such as flooding, erosion, desertification, etc.  in Nigeria today. It identified green entrepreneurship as one of the major strategies to adapt and mitigate climate change in Nigeria thereby eradicating poverty and ensuring sustainable economic growth. It also explored the critical role the World Bank Group can play in eradicating poverty by green financing to enhance green entrepreneurship  in Nigeria. This study recommended further research in the field of green financing and green entrepreneurs to enhance solutions to eradicate poverty in Nigeria.This study concluded by highlighting the need to enhance green   entrepreneurship   through green finance for sustainable development in Nigeria.   &nbsp

The Role of Entrepreneurship Education in Enhancing Socio-Economic Development in Nigeria

Entrepreneurship education is one of the most powerful instruments known for developing entrepreneurship skills, creating employment, and making the beneficiaries self-reliant in modern societies. It can turn job seekers into job creators. This study highlighted that entrepreneurship education aims primarily to produce competent, skillful, and dynamic entrepreneurs who will effectively compete in the world of work. The implementation of the findings of the study would help strengthen entrepreneurship education as a discipline across campuses in Nigeria. Through literature review and participant observation, this study identified that entrepreneurship education will enhance self-employment and self-reliance among the youths, thereby eradicating poverty and hunger in Nigeria. As population grows and urbanization increases, more wastewater is generated and there is need to create more awareness on the health, economic and environmental implications of poorly disposed wastewater. Climate change, global warming and other related environmental challenges such as water pollution presently pose as a threat to biodiversity and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria. However, within these environmental challenges are self-reliant opportunities, one of which is green entrepreneurship in wastewater management. Perceivably, this has implications for sustainable economic growth in Nigeria. This paper calls for smarter wastewater management, including reuse and resource recovery. It also examined wastewater management projects in Nigeria which have paid dividends for people, the environment, and economies in the short and long-term. Climate change, global warming and other related environmental challenges presently pose as a threat to sustainable economic growth in Nigeria’s agricultural sector. However, these environmental challenges have also created opportunities for green entrepreneurship in Nigeria. Through literature review and participants’ observation, it has been highlighted that there is great need for farmers in rural and urban communities in Nigeria to adopt the green entrepreneurship which is eco-friendly and has capacity to ensure sustainable economic growth. This paper examines the green skills and entrepreneurial opportunities in Nigeria’s agricultural sector readily available for the unemployed and underemployed youths in Nigeria which in turn addresses the problems of poverty and hunger in the country. This paper also highlights the innovative ways to educate communities and institutions in Nigeria about opportunities in agripreneurship and the role of green entrepreneurship for sustainable economic growth. This paper concludes that there is great need for educational institutions in Nigeria to engage in a more intensive research and disruptive innovation approach to devise the means of ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment by adopting green entrepreneurship which will help to guarantee sustainable environment and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria
