PHYSICAL GROWTH OF CHILDREN IN VORONEZH REGION. ITS DYNAMICS AND TRENDS

    No full text
Physical growth of children is one of the most important dices for the health status of the younger generation. The study of the children's physical growth and development peculiarities in the changing social and economic conditions is deferred to the key problems of the hygiene and health protection of children and adolescents. The object of the study was he children of Voronezh region. The authors estimated the ain indices of the physical growth: height and body mass. They amined over 12 000 children: 6310 boys and 6242 girls aged between 0 and 14 years, living in the urban and rural areas. Such studies never took place in Voronezh region in a capacity like this, as well as in such a variety of sample and high degree of their representativeness (р < 0,01). The acquired data on the physical growth of children in Voronezh region in the end of the 2nd millennium demonstrates a more favor able situation (towards the capital social and economic sphere) in the region, where the children population under the study resides, if compared with the beginning of the 20th century, as well as the advantage of influence on the physical growth of biological, medical and genetic factors over the social and hygienic ones (lifestyle, environment and etc.).Key words: physical growth, children, height, body mass

CRYOGLOBULINS IN CASE OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS IN CHILDREN: CONNECTION WITH THE AGE FACTOR AND CHANGES IN THE URINE ANALYSIS

33 healthy children and 39 patients withjuvenile rheumatoid arthritis have been studied. The level of cryoglobulins has been up to 80 mcg/ml in healthy children (43,5+28,3 mcg/ml) being decreased with the age. The level of cryoglobulins has been accounted for 651 mcg/ml(91,2+110,2 mcg/ml) being increased with the age in children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Significant correlation between the level of cryoglobulins and activity of disease has been revealed. There were no differences of the level of cryoglobulins in children with systemic and articular forms of arthritis as wellas in children with changed and normal urine analyses

The article deals with some aspects of improving the educational process aimed at developing professionally important psychophysical and psychophysiological qualities. These qualities are considered as a separate specific component of the system of professionally important qualities of personality, as the central theoretical construct of engineering psychology and labor psychology. From the position of psychophysiology, we described the influence of acceleration phenomena and overloading as important dynamic factors, the response to which requires the presence of certain psychophysical and psychophysiological characteristics. On the basis of the specifics of training for flying professions we reflected the psychophysiological effects, which arise in situations of rectilinear, radial and angular acceleration, as well as Coriolis acceleration, are reflected. We considered some psychophysiological (according to their origin) reactions of the cardiovascular system, depending on the training and adaptation of the vestibular system to rotational loading, acceleration and overloading. It is showed that using in the training process devices built on the principles of modern information technologies allows recording and analyzing acceleration and overloading, which experienced under experimental conditions. The principal scheme and basic characteristics of acceleration sensor are described, the information from the sensor is transmitted by interference-free wireless channel with the minimum threshold values of the actually measured acceleration values of 1.5g followed by its processing by artificial intelligence methods.
