A procedure to extract the complex amplitudes of He photodouble ionization from experimental data
A procedure to extract the two complex amplitudes that govern the He photodouble ionization process from the experimental data is proposed. The results are compared with the predictions of the convergent close coupling and hyperspherical R-matrix with semiclassical outgoing wave theories
Fast noise in the Landau-Zener theory
We study the influence of a fast noise on Landau-Zener transitions. We
demonstrate that a fast colored noise much weaker than the conventional white
noise can produce transitions itself or can change substantially the
Landau-Zener transition probabilities. In the limit of fast colored or strong
white noise we derive asymptotically exact formulae for transition
probabilities and study the time evolution of a spin coupled to the noise and a
sweeping magnetic field.Comment: 28 pages, 5 figure
Extended Wannier ridge model for the electrons angular distribution
The extended Wannier model describes the propagation of two-electron wave packet along the Wannier ridge from the reaction zone (where it is formed by (ÎĄ,2e) or (e,2e) process) to the zone of free electron motion. The angular correlation patterns are calculated and analyzed for 1Se and 1Po states of the two-electron continuum
