Baikal-GVD
We present the status of the Gigaton Volume Detector in Lake Baikal (Baikal-GVD) designed for the detection of high energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin. The telescope consists of functionally independent clusters, sub-arrays of optical modules (OMs), which are connected to shore by individual electro-optical cables. During 2015 the GVD demonstration cluster, comprising 192 OMs, has been successfully operated in Lake Baikal. In 2016 this array was upgraded to baseline configuration of GVD cluster with 288 OMs arranged on eight vertical strings. Thus the instrumented water volume has been increased up to about 5.9 Mtons. The array was commissioned in early April 2016 and takes data since then. We describe the configuration and design of the 2016 array. Preliminary results obtained with data recorded in 2015 are also discussed
THE PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECT OF THE HUMAN FACTOR INFLUENCE ON THE SAFETY OF PEOPLE WORKINGAT COAL MINING ENTERPRISES
The article highlights the relevance of the psychological aspect of the influence of the human factor on the safety of people working in coal-mining enterprises. "Human factor" is universally recognized as the cause of professional traumatism, therefore it is necessary to investigate it in the direction of solving the problem to which it is involved. In order to identify the factors that affect the psychological state of people working in conditions of increased danger, the results of a specific psychological study conducted by testing and interviewing respondents in two coal mines are presented. Based on the assertion that in the process of doing any type of activity, human security ensures his formation of professionally important qualities (PIQ), list of them is justified for people working in coal industry. The results of PIQ measuring for respondents of the "Taldinskaya Mine- Western" And the brigade of the mine named after VD Yalevsky. It is proved that the psychological climate of the collective influences the psychological state of workers, and, consequently, the safety of their work. Factors determining psychological climate of the collective were identified Recommendations are formulated to eliminate the negative external impact on the psychological state of people, which the safety of their work depends on

In this work we present a method for performance evaluation of stereo vision based obstacle detection techniques that takes into account the speciο¬cs of road situation analysis to minimize the eο¬ort required to prepare a test dataset. This approach has been designed to be implemented in systems such as selfdriving cars or driver assistance and can also be also used as problem-oriented quality criteria for stereo vision algorithms
Clinical characteristics and mechanisms underlying the development of organ pathology in patients with chronic brucellosis
Objective. To analyze specific characteristics and mechanisms underlying the development of organ pathology in patients with chronic brucellosis (CB). Patients and methods. This study included more than 500 patients with CB treated in Saratov hospitals in 2003β2018. In addition to standard examination, all study participants have undergone the assessment of their lipid peroxidation/antioxidant defense system, levels of major cytokines, markers of endotoxicosis (ET), and tissue-specific autoreactive antibodies. Results and discussion. The vast majority of patients (98.2%) had their musculoskeletal system affected; lesions to the autonomic nervous system and peripheral nervous system were observed in 97.5% and 88.8% of patients, respectively; almost half of males (45%) had their reproductive organs affected; approximately one-third of participants (26.7β32.9%) had cardiovascular disorders with myocardial lesions. The severity of systemic inflammation, ET, and autoimmune reactions depended on the CB activity and determined the development of organ pathology. We found that vascular and mechanical factors were important for the development of lesions to the peripheral nervous system and reproductive organs in men. Patients, in whom the diagnosis of CB was verified 2 years following onset of symptoms, were more likely to develop exacerbations, had more organs and systems affected, and had higher risk of disability. Conclusion. Comprehensive examination revealed multiple organ lesions in all CB patients, associated not only with damage caused by the pathogen at the site of specific inflammation, but also with the involvement of vascular and mechanical factors, as well as the consequences of systemic inflammatory response, ET, and autoimmune reactions. Late diagnosis was associated with more severe clinical manifestations of CB. Β© 2021, Dynasty Publishing House. All rights reserved
Acoustic Search for High Energy Neutrinos in Lake Baikal: Status and Perspectives
The status and perspectives of the feasibility study to detect high energy cosmic neutrinos acoustically in Lake Baikal is presented. The concept of on acoustic array as a part of the Baikal Gigaton Volume Neutrino Telescope GVD based on results of simulation and background measurements is described
The optical detection unit for Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope
The first stage of the GVD-cluster composed of five strings was deployed in April 2014. Each string consists of two sections with 12 optical modules per section. A section is the basic detection unit of the Baikal neutrino telescope. We will describe the section design, review its basic elements - optical modules, FADC readout units, slow control and calibration systems, and present selected results for section in-situ tests in Lake Baikal

Status and perspectives of the BAIKAL-GVD project
The neutrino telescope Baikal-GVD in Lake Baikal will be a research infrastructure aimed mainly at studying astrophysical neutrino fluxes. The telescope will consist of clusters of strings - functionally independent sub-arrays. The deployment of the first demonstration cluster has been started in April 2013. In 2014 the deployment of the second stage of the demonstration cluster has been performed. We describe the configuration and design of the first GVD cluster and review the current status of cluster deployment in Lake Baikal
