Phase content of metal-matrix composites of the system Fe-W-C which are formed by plasma precipitation
Melt crystallization peculiarities of the system have been investigated by means of X-Ray diffraction and microstructure analysis. It is shown that content changing of hexagonal tungsten carbide in the mixture essentially influences processes of phases formation at crystallization. It is ascertained that tungsten carbide having hexagonal structure partly transforms to the double carbide FeW3C, which under the terms of carbon shortage transits to superlattices of the type M6C
To the topic of the analytical definition of the cog of the wheel having an elliptic profile
Analytical dependence for the estimation of coordinates of a concave cog side having an elliptic profile, which take into account the limitation of it's height by the value of internal circle radius of the wheel, is presented. An algorithm for the calculation of profile coordinates of elliptic cog is presented
Phisical model wear resistance of metal matrix composite materials
It is given to the method calculation of wear resistance of WC, phase Laves, superstructure and composite materials on their basis. Received results are discussed
DETERMINATION OF COORDINATES OF COG'S SIDES OF THE GEARS WITH ELLIPTIC PROFILE
Results of theoretical definition of coordinates of a cog side having in normal cross-section the elliptic profile are presented. Equations connecting angular and linear dimensions of cogs in face and normal cross-sections are obtained. The offered technique is usable for a determination of coordinates of the profile circumscribed by any plane curve of the second order
PSEUDOPIEZOELECTRIC EFFECTS IN ICE
Observations of the electromagnetic radiation emitted by glaciers and sea ice suggest the existence of pseudopiezoeffects in natural ice Ih. This work deals with the theoretical prediction and experimental detection of pseudopiezoelectriceffects in ice, manifested in the presence of gradients of elastic stresses, temperature and impurity concentration
