Based on the analysis of bilateral relations between Russia and the People's Republic of China, Russia and the Republic of Korea, Russia and Japan, a model of communication between our country and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region has been built. The goal of the study is to carry out a quantitative content analysis of the image of Russia broadcast through the media focused on the countries of the Asia-Pacific region (China, Japan and South Korea). The study used the method of content analysis, the theoretical model of communication and the theory of the image. The mechanisms of forming the image of the state in political psychology are described. The main theoretical approaches are considered and the study of communicative and informative perception of the image of Russia, formed through the media of the APR countries, is carried out. Totally 4244 messages in the years 2015 - 2017 were analyzed. The results of content analysis show that most of the reports about Russia and the events connected with it are of a neutral, informative nature. The articles have no emotional tone, the bulk of the reports contain a dry statement of facts. Information agencies broadcast events through the prism of their ideology, most of them keep neutrality, the articles have an analytical, overview, commentary or narrative orientation.peer-reviewe

Research and simulation of images classification algorithm for distributed objects obtained by remote sensing of the Earth's surface

Application of ultra-wideband signals and large apertures makes it possible to obtain a sufficiently detailed radar image of a spatially distributed object at the processing unit output. But the problem of optimal classification of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data remains relevant due to specific features of radar images. The paper describes solution of the synthesis problem for optimal SAR image classification algorithm. The optimal set of very informative and small dimension features is found and features based on the moments of SAR images are proposed. A comparative analysis of classification algorithms using various features is made, and the ratio is proposed, which can be used as the classification sign that is invariant to object shift and to specific distortions caused by the object rotation. © 2016 Academic Publications, Ltd

    Get PDF
Content marketing on social media depends on trends in consumer behaviors. A changing focus and emphasis on audience activities on social media are a key optimization problem in social media marketing (SMM). A solution to this problem lies in a field of ongoing empirical studies of posting frequency. In the review of the literature, authors highlight the role of social media as a promising channel for a direct interaction of companies/brands with consumers. Based on theoretical generalizations, authors present a generation sequence of an SMM content strategy. The article also includes an analysis of posting activities of users from Russia on well-known social media. A cost-benefit analysis of posting activities rests upon some factors: socio-demographic characteristics of users, a content format, time and day of the week parameters, etc. Data come from such sources as aggregated statistics of social media and selective interviewing. An analysis of activities for users from Russia has shown that VKontakte is the most popular platform; Instagram is the second, while Facebook is the third. Odnoklassniki and Twitter are less preferred. VKontakte users respond best to short posts. On Facebook, entries with medium-sized texts have got the highest number of responds. On Instagram, long posts work better. The photo format is a leader in all of the social media. The video format has a middle position, while a text is the most inefficient type of content. There is strong differentiation in response time depending on a target audience. Findings have made it possible to present recommendations for optimization of content marketing

The structure and residual elastic stresses in 3D printed (Selective laser melting) Ti-6A1-4V samples after the low-frequency vibration processing were investigated. The studied samples were manufactured horizontally in respect to the building platform. Different vibration oscillations modes (vertical, horizontal, and elliptical) were chosen for study. The oscillations were done with frequency of 16 Hz, and a processing time was 20 minutes. Studies shown that 3D printed samples had a high level of residual elastic stresses, which were changed after vibration treatment. The influence of the low-frequency processing on the phase composition of the alloy was found. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

Dynamics of Switching Waves in a Nanofluid in a Light Field

The dynamics of the concentration of nanofluids placed in a light field with a Gaussian intensity profile is studied theoretically. The investigation is based on the analytical and numerical solutions of the system of linearized heat conduction and convectiondiffusion equations. The convection-diffusion equation contains terms that correspond both to the Soret effect and to the transfer of nanoparticles, caused by the action of a light field on them (electrostriction). The dependence of the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the medium on the concentration is taken into account. It is shown that under these conditions single travelling waves appear in the medium, the velocity of which depends not only on the thermal physical parameters of the medium, but also on the polarization of the particles. Conditions under which the stratification of the medium is possible are found

Study is based on the compare characterization of the structure and evaluation of the residual internal stresses in Ti-6Al-4V samples manufactured by the 3D printing (selective laser melting) and in the Ti-6Al-4V samples obtained with using of the severe plastic deformation by screw extrusion. The microstructure and residual stresses were examined by transmission electron microscope and X-ray diffractometer. High tensile internal residual stresses in the 3D printed sample were found. The high compressive residual internal stresses were found in the hot pressed and in the twisted samples. It was shown that arising of the high residual stresses in the studied samples under various technological processes occurred in various ways. The residual stresses in the severe plastic deformed samples arose due to non-uniform volumetric plastic deformation. In 3D printed sample, the residual tensile stresses arose from both phase (martensitic) transformation and thermal deformation. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

The role of mass media in society keeps the problem of manipulative influence distinction and the contiguous phenomena, chief among which is objectivity and authenticity of news items, current. The research provides a detailed study of the information broadcasting mechanisms in the media area, defines the problems, impeding an impersonal reproduction and disclosure of information, clarifies the verification methods, and gives their topology. In this research, we examined how the mass media of different countries presented the same event to the public. The publications of four mass media, concerning such an event as the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union (Brexit), have been determined as an object of the analysis. The chosen mass media refer to the countries, which are not the direct participants of that process: Russia, the USA, and Ukraine. D. Brewer’s criteria were used to define the objectivity of the news items. A relative sentiment of the news, which became the objective analysis basis, has been identified using linguistic rate with Eureka Engine intelligence system. The obtained results predominantly confirmed the hypothesis, that the mass media of different countries would represent the process of the UK withdrawal from the EU according to the country’s policy and interpret the facts in their favor. All the four mass media demonstrate the partiality when broadcasting the current situation in the matter of Brexit. The concepts being the semantic kernel elements of mass media publications have emotional coloring. The sentiment analysis of the publications resulted in the conclusion that only one of the four mass media gave a neutral assessment of the Brexit situation. The other three held to the political stance of their edition or government. The research results indicate that the problem of mass media objectivity remains relevant. The correctional impact on public opinion through mass media is extremely high. Therefore, forming the personal attitude toward the situation or event should occur with using several verifications methods and mass media sources at once

The paper presents the analysis of coherence maps application methods for the interferometric SAR images processing. The interferometric coherence is an important indicator of the reliability of the interferograms obtained by the interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR), since the areas with low coherence values are unsuitable for processing the interferometric data. In addition, the coherence is used as a parameter of adaptive phase noise filters, and it can also be used for surface segmentation. The sizes of the averaging windows suitable for the solution of practical problems are experimentally determined. The method of accuracy increasing for the digital elevation maps and displacement maps obtained by InSAR systems based on masking the coherence map is presented. The DEM accuracy improvement in comparison with the classical estimation method is presented
