    Measurement of the branching fraction for the decay KS --> pi e nu

    We present a measurement of the branching ratio BR(KS --> pi e nu) performed using the KLOE detector. KS mesons are produced in the reaction e+ e- --> phi --> KS KL at the DAFNE collider. In a sample of about 5 million KS-tagged events we find 624 +- 30 semileptonic KS decays. Normalizing to the KS --> pi+ pi- count in the same data sample, we obtain BR(KS --> pi e nu) = (6.91 +- 0.37) 10^-4, in agreement with the Standard Model expectation.Comment: 9 pages, 5 Encapsulated Postscript figures.     The full-length prototype of the KLOE drift chamber

    The main goal of the KLOE experiment is the study of CP violation in the K mesons system, with an accuracy of 10(-4) in the measurement of Re(epsilon'/epsilon). This task imposes strong constraints on the design and operation of the drift chamber, which must reconstruct the charged decays of low momentum K-L's and K-S's with high efficiency and high resolution, full-length prototype of the chamber has been built and tested on a 50 GeV/c beam. The analysis of the large sample of data has allowed a detailed study of the time to distance relations as a function of the track parameters and of the peculiar geometry of the drift cell, The detector performance, in terms of efficiency, spatial resolutions and dE/dx resolution, is illustrated and discussed

The main sources of the noise component in the image, which should be shooted by camera based on nanosatellite, the criteria for assessing the quality of filtering and the main digital filters for image recovery are given.     Agreement of Macroeconomic Forecasts in the Methodology of the System of National Accounts

    In this paper the authors propose the model of agreement (financial balance) of macroeconomic forecasts, budget plans and balance of payments forecasts and the results of experimental calculations of this model for 2006-2008. The urgency of working out special instruments of such agreement is connected with increasing quality demands for medium-term budget plans. The proposed model is increasing the capacities of macroeconomic forecasts qualitative analysis; it explicitly contains resources of consumption and accumulation for major sectors of the economy and the economy as a whole. The financial balance is harmonized with the System of National Accounts and may be used for complex evaluation of the fiscal policy. In particular, it is possible to evaluate the influence of changes in tax regulation on macroeconomic and balance of payments indexes. The model contains net lending / net borrowing indexes for the sectors of the economy and on this base one can make conclusions about lending and borrowing capacities of the given sectors in future.</jats:p
