Kontroversi Pemikiran Hadits Mahmud Abu Rayyah
This paper aims to analyze of Mahmoud Abu Rayyah’s thinking about hadith considered controversial. Although he is an East, but thought much in tune with the group the West. In between the opinions controversial is about standing of hadith that is different from the Sunnah, especially in the writing of hadith, dismantle of establishment equity theory of companions, and doubted the credibility of the companions of Abu Hurayrah. The whole of his opinion is eventually denied by some contemporary Muslim scholars. This paper concludes that the thought of Mahmud Abu Rayyah against hadith has many drawbacks, especially about the history of the writing of hadith and doubts against Abu Hurairah, which contradicts with his own opinion

ZAKI NAGUIB MAHMOUD’S THOUGHT ON IDEAL POLITICS (From Social-Criticism to Liberating-Nationalism)
The discourse on political dynamics in Islamic (Arabic) countries leaves a debate that will never end. One of the Muslim thinkers who contributed to the concept of Islamic politics was Zaki Naguib Mahmoud. Although he was not as popular as other thinkers, in the context of Islamic politics, the presence of Zaki's thoughts made Islamic political discourse more dynamic. Zaki offered some criticisms and conceptual proposals for political discourse, namely a political concept that is not only oriented to the struggle for power, but a political concept that liberates, prospers, and always tries to build a better order of life. Zaky was here to oppose the tyranny of power and the hegemony of the majority over the minority. For the Arabs, the realization of such a political vision is not impossible, considering that they have a noble heritage in the form of a spirit of nationalism rooted in the era of their predecessors. It is this spirit that should be able to establish political order and liberate the Arab country from backwardness, decline, and moral degradation
Emergent Leadership Detection Across Datasets
Automatic detection of emergent leaders in small groups from nonverbal
behaviour is a growing research topic in social signal processing but existing
methods were evaluated on single datasets -- an unrealistic assumption for
real-world applications in which systems are required to also work in settings
unseen at training time. It therefore remains unclear whether current methods
for emergent leadership detection generalise to similar but new settings and to
which extent. To overcome this limitation, we are the first to study a
cross-dataset evaluation setting for the emergent leadership detection task. We
provide evaluations for within- and cross-dataset prediction using two current
datasets (PAVIS and MPIIGroupInteraction), as well as an investigation on the
robustness of commonly used feature channels (visual focus of attention, body
pose, facial action units, speaking activity) and online prediction in the
cross-dataset setting. Our evaluations show that using pose and eye contact
based features, cross-dataset prediction is possible with an accuracy of 0.68,
as such providing another important piece of the puzzle towards emergent
leadership detection in the real world.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure
