Selected aspects of indoor positioning based on AIDC elements in warehouse facilities
The article presents classification of automatic identification and data acquisition techniques (AIDC) as well as
techniques for indoor positioning of objects supporting logistic processes, including especially warehousing processes.
The use of presented solutions and the possibility of combining AIDC technics with indoor positioning systems to
increase the efficiency of logistics processes in warehouses were discussed. This combination can make a tool
supporting rational decision making for allocation of idling employees and vehicles to warehouse tasks and reducing
empty runs on the base of position analyse. Then, the idea of using popular AIDC devices − mobile terminals with and
without RFID scanners to track the position of employees was presented and discussed. Mobile terminals can provide
information about position, which can be used for the allocation of tasks (the reverse functions of mobile terminals).
Review of AIDC techniques in warehouses and industrial facilities, information flow in AIDC techniques, positioning
techniques in a closed space, Resources positioning and the efficiency of the warehouse process, typical and new
approaches to positioning resources in warehouse, the reverse function of mobile terminals are presented in the article
Ultrafast Magnetization Dynamics in Epitaxial Ni-Mn-Sn Heusler Alloy Film
The work is devoted to studies of ultrafast magnetization dynamics induced by femtosecond laser pulses in ferromagnetic Ni-Mn-Sn shape memory Heusler alloy. We studied epitaxial thin Ni_{54.3}Mn_{31.9}Sn_{13.8} film deposited on (001) MgO substrate. Spin precession in an external magnetic field was triggered and detected by the time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect (TRMOKE) using pump-probe technique in dual color scheme experiment. Measurements were performed as a function of magnetic field H and pulse power P. The measured TRMOKE signal is composed of oscillatory and background components, both decaying exponentially in a nanosecond time scale. The precession frequency was determined and found to be varying in the range of 1-10 GHz with H up to 3 kOe and decreasing linearly with P. The dependence of Gilbert damping parameter α on H was determined and discussed
Low-Temperature Structural Phase Transition in Monoclinic RbDy(WO) Crystal
The ESR spectrum of Dy ion in the low-symmetry RbDy(WO) crystal has been studied in the temperature region of T=4.2 ÷ 30K. The ESR linewidth was found to increase from 130 mT up to the maximum value of 190 mT at T=9K and then to decrease down to 150 mT at 4.2K. The components of the g-tensor change considerably without change of their spatial orientation in the temperature range from 12K to 7 K: g=2.5, g≈0, g=1.41 at T>12 K; g=1.53, g≈0, g=1.2 at T<7K. The observed λ-shaped behaviour of absorption linewidth and the decrease in the g-factor are assumed to be due to the low-temperature structural phase transition (T≈9 K). The width of the transition area is of about 5K. It is suggested that the symmetry of high- and low-temperature phases is identical
Epitaxial Growths and Magnetization Dynamics of Heusler Alloy Films
Ferromagnetic resonance has been investigated in Heusler alloy films. The films were deposited at 673<T<723 K on MgO(001) substrates by means of magnetron sputtering. X-ray diffraction confirmed that the films were epitaxial. The films had magnetic parameters typical of bulk with structural order. From angular dependences of the resonance field and the ferromagnetic resonance linewidth the intrinsic Gilbert contribution and extrinsic contribution to the ferromagnetic resonance linewidth due to two-magnon scattering were separated. Our data indicate a room temperature Gilbert damping of 0.007, which is comparable to that of half-metallic Heusler alloy. Surface roughness is responsible for a substantial extrinsic two-magnon contribution to the linewidth of the order of 50-300 Oe in these epitaxial soft magnetic Heusler alloy films. The spin wave stiffness of D=70-100 meV is one of the lowest for the known Heusler alloy
Giant lipoma of the face and neck – a case report
A 65-year-old patient with multiple lipomas of various body regions presented to the Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic in Bialystok to treat a giant lipoma of the face and neck. After undergoing in-depth diagnostics (CT of this area), the patient was qualified and prepared for planned surgery in the clinic. The treatment of choice was a complete surgical excision of the lipoma. The intra- and postoperative course was uneventful. Postoperative histopathological examination confirmed the tentative diagnosis established on the basis of the fine-needle aspiration biopsy and clinical examination

Photoconductivity of BiTiPbO Single Crystal
Single crystals of mixed sillenites BiTiPbO were grown using the top seeded solution growth method. The pulse illumination was used to study the phototransport properties of these crystals. It was evidenced that the illumination changed the photoconducting properties by 4-5 orders of magnitude comparing with previously studied BiMeO, where Me = Ge, Si, Ti. The performed experiments indicate on the photogeneration of metallic grains in the insulating matrix of BiTiPbO. Correlations between photochromism and photoconductivity was established
Odontogenic phlegmon of the mouth floor: a case report
Odontogenic phlegmon of the mouth floor—Ludwig's angina (phlegmonae fundi cavi oris seu angina Ludovici)—is a rare, life-threatening, local complication in most cases of odontogenic inflammation. This study presents the case of a patient treated in the Department of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery of the University Hospital in Białystok due to phlegmon of the mouth floor resulting from odontogenic inflammation with a dynamic course. Quick diagnostics, surgical intervention as well as antibiotic therapy contributed to its efficient and successful treatment
