Calculations of the magnetic field and its integral parameters in a permanent magnet linear oscillating actuator

    No full text
The calculation results for a linear oscillating actuator have been presented. The actuator is designed to be used in mechanical fatigue tests. The pulling force, frequency and amplitude of the actuator moving part have to be controlled. As the results of the computer simulations the magnetic field distributions under different current values have been obtained and presented. The two components of the magnetic flux density values, in the air gap between inner and outer stators, have been depicted. The force values as a function of the coil current and mover position have also been calculated and presented. In the mathematical model, the finite element method (FEM) for magnetic field analysis, has been implemented. The force values have been calculated from Lorentz formula. The target of the studies is obtaining the construction with magnetic force under changing the mover position as constant as possible
