Stranieri irregolari e diritto alle cure

    No full text
The present study maps EU countries on the basis of their different levels in the right to health, highlighting the relation between health-care and political climate. The right to a nationality, the right to vote and the right to access timely, acceptable, and affordable health-care of appropriate quality are all strictly linked. The growing presence of xenophobic political trends within National Parliaments increasingly affects the case-law on highly-debated social issues, among which are also laws regulating the right to access and use health services by irregular non-nationals/migrants
