Fire safety of the metro lines in the aspect of technical and construction regulations

W artykule poruszono problematykę związaną z warunkami ochrony przeciwpożarowej wybranych środków transportu publicznego. W szczególności analizie poddane zostały tunele metra, które ze względu na swój charakter i przeznaczenie charakteryzują się dużą złożonością wyposażenia technicznego, co wymusza szczególne rozwiązania zabezpieczeń przeciwpożarowych. Przy ich projektowaniu wykorzystano przepisy i doświadczenie innych krajów oraz wnioski z analiz pożarów i katastrof. Warto zauważyć, że zgodnie z obowiązującymi przepisami, w obiektach tych muszą być spełnione wymagania bezpieczeństwa pożarowego wynikające z przepisów, m.in. z: Dyrektywy Unii Europejskiej, Prawa budowlanego oraz przepisów techniczno-budowlanych ustalonych w tym zakresie. Obiekty metra wyposaża się w zabezpieczenia przeciwpożarowe, tj.: system sygnalizacji pożaru, dźwiękowy system ostrzegawczy, hydranty przeciwpożarowe, podręczny sprzęt gaśniczy i agregaty gaśnicze, instalacje oświetlenia ewakuacyjnego, przeszkodowego i kierunkowego. Urządzenia metra dostosowuje się do celów ochrony przeciwpożarowej, w tym systemów wentylacji, łączności, oświetlenia i nagłośnienia.The aim of the article is to discuss the issues related to the fire protection conditions of the selected public transport vehicles. In particular, the underground tunnels have been analyzed. Due to its location, the building is characterized by a great complex of technical equipment and a large number of people staying in the metro, which has forced special solutions for fire protection. The rules and experience of other countries and the conclusions of the analysis of fires and disasters were used in their determination. It should be noted that in accordance with the regulations in force, these facilities must meet the fire safety requirements of the European Union Directive, Construction Law and the technical and construction regulations established in this area. Subway facilities are equipped with the fire alarm system, the audible warning system, the fire hydrants, the fire extinguishers, the trolley mounted fire extinguishers and the emergency lighting systems both obstacle and directed. The subway emergency devices such as ventilation, communication, lighting and sound systems are strictly adapted to fire protection purposes.
