An important requirement for the material for pistons concerns its parameters at different temperatures of piston operation at different ambient temperatures. The study uses penetration tests in quality control of diesel engine pistons used in passenger cars. The purpose of the tests was to determine, with the use of traditional quality management tools, the sources of incompatibility of castings detected in eddy current testing. The aim of the analysis was to reduce the number of non-compliant products or to eliminate them altogether

Analysis of the incompatibility of the product with fluorescent method

The aim is to analyze the surface of the product (posterior bearing housing) with using the fluorescent method and to demonstrate the effectiveness of the sequence application like the fluorescent method and instruments of the quality management to analyze the incompatible of the product. In the production enterprise, during the fluorescent penetration test, the incompatibility was identified on the product (posterior bearing housing), i.e. the porosity cluster. The effective of the used the sequence containing the fluorescent method, the Ishikawa diagram and the 5Why method in order to identify incompatibility, and next the source cause was demonstrated. The analyze, the sequence of the methods and the proposed improvement actions can be used in other companies to analyze quality problems

Monitoring the process of anodising of VW70U pistons using the control chart

The process of anodising of aluminium pistons has been analysed. The analysis has been conducted with the use of a control chart, which is one of the traditional quality management tools. Its purpose is consistent and effective elimination of faults by means of identification of their actual causes and applying appropriate preventive measures. It has been determined that even the most complex control chart, the X̅ and R chart, can indicate problems within the anodising process and contribute to its improvement

Supervision of measuring equipment based on risk management and ISO 9001

The study presents the results of analysis of the possibilities of measuring equipment supervision, taking into account the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard and risk management present there. As it has been shown, it is possible to use (mentioned in point 6.1 of indicated standard) a risk management method for skilfully managing a measuring equipment. Orientation of business to risk is one of the elements of the ISO 9001 standard, which does not specify exactly how the method of its implementation should looks like. Generally, it orders to manage risk wherever goals appear. The targets also appear in the field of supervision of measuring equipment. Therefore, in the elaboration, apart from the requirements analysis, the concept of a five-stage methodology for implementing a risk-based approach to management of measurement equipment was presented. The matrix method was used to assess the risk. Within this method two elements were assessed: probability and potential efPacana fects of the risk occurrence. Application of the proposed concept may contribute to a more efficient and effective management of measuring instruments

Sytuacja ta występuje również w związku z działalnością uczelni wyższych, gdzie na satysfakcję i lojalność studentów mają wpływ nie tylko zajęcia dydaktyczne, lecz także inne elementy, jak np. organizacje studenckie, pomoc materialna czy organizacja studiów. Organizacja procesu kształcenia, w tym również weryfikacja pozyskanej wiedzy, ma niebagatelny wpływ na samą jakość kształcenia. An analysis of work safety in a plant producing aggregate

Wraz z rosnącą świadomością pracowników w zakresie bhp zmienia się podejście do sfery bezpiecznej pracy. Ze względu na liczne zagrożenia występujące w górnictwie dokonano analiz, których celem było zaproponowanie możliwości zapewnienia bezpiecznego miejsca pracy. Analizę przeprowadzono w zakładzie górniczym produkującym kruszywo ZEK Czarna Sędziszowska, który jest jednym z zakładów należących do przedsiębiorstwa Kruszgeo. Analizie poddano dane statystyczne pobrane z Wyższego Urzędu Górniczego dotyczące wypadkowości w górnictwie odkrywkowym w latach 2010 –2017. Kolejno dokonano analizy wyników ankietowych, które zostały przeprowadzone wśród wszystkich pracowników omawianego zakładu Ankiety dotyczyły bezpieczeństwa w pracy oraz odczuwanych przez pracowników dolegliwości. Wybrane wyniki ankietowe porównano z wynikami z oceny ryzyka zawodowego przeprowadzonego według normy PN-N-18002.Przeprowadzona analiza i zaproponowane możliwości zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa pracy mogą zapewnić bezpieczne miejsce pracy w ZEK Czarna Sędziszowska i w innych zakładach odkrywkowych.Together with the growing awareness of employees in the field of occupational safety, the approach to the sphere of safe work is changing. Due to numerous threats occurring in the mining industry, analysis were carried out aimed at proposing the possibility of providing a safe workplace. The analysis was carried out at the ZEK Czarna Sedziszowska mining plant producing, which is one of the plants owned by the Kruszgeo. The statistical data collected from the State Mining Authority regarding the incidents in opencast mining in the years 2010 -2017 were analyzed. Next, the results of the questionnaires subsequently was analyzed, which was carried out among all the employees of the discussed plant. The surveys concerned safety at work and ailments experienced by employees. The selected survey results were compared with the occupational risk assessment results carried out in accordance with PN-N-18002.The conducted analysis and proposed possibilities to increase work safety can provide a safe workplace at ZEK Czarna Sędziszowska and other opencast plants

The analysis of the solution of the problem of incompatible products with using the 8D method

Organizations should be able to define what is a problem, be able to quickly find the cause of its occurrence and then decide on its elimination. It is the basis of the organization's functioning and development. The aim of the study is analyze the often solution problem with a large number of nonconforming products. The analysis was conducted in PZL Sędziszów company with using the 8D method. Analyzed the solution of the problem of incompatibility of products such as car bearing baskets. The analysis showed that changes in product inspection were necessary, as well as proved the importance of employee training and their liability for product and its quality. The conclusions of the analysis can be used in any organization wishing to improve its products.Organizacje powinny umieć zdefiniować, co jest problemem, potrafić w szybki sposób odnajdywać przyczyny jego wystąpienia i dopiero wówczas podejmować decyzje o jego eliminacji. To podstawa funkcjonowania i rozwoju organizacji. Celem artykułu jest przeanalizowanie sposobu rozwiązania często spotykanego problemu niezadowalająco dużej liczby wyrobów niezgodnych. Analizę przeprowadzono w przedsiębiorstwie PZL Sędziszów z wykorzystaniem metodyki 8D. Dokonano analizy rozwiązania problemu niezgodności wyrobów, jakim były koszyki łożysk samochodowych. Analiza wykazała konieczność wprowadzenia zmian w kontrolach produkowanych wyrobów, a także udowodniła jak istotne są szkolenia pracowników i uświada-mianie im odpowiedzialności za produkt i jego jakość. Wnioski płynące z analizy można wykorzystać w dowolnych organizacjach pragnących doskonalić swoje wyroby

Intensywnie rozwijające się miasta napotykają na różnego rodzaju problemy, w tym problemy komunikacyjne. Podejmowane są oczywiście próby rozwiązywania tych problemów. Zaliczyć do nich można koncepcję szerszego zainteresowania mieszkańców transportem publicznym. Prowadzone są też analizy, których celem jest jego optymalizacja. Chcąc zachęcić mieszkańców do korzystania z transportu publicznego, oprócz zmian organizacyjnych, należałoby zwrócić uwagę na kupowane środki transportu miejskiego. Pomocną w tym zakresie może być kwalitologia, czyli nauka zajmująca się badaniem jakości produktów
