Low x particle spectra in the Modified Leading Logarithm Approximation
We show that the higher moments of the evolution obtained from the Modified
Leading Logarithm Approximation may be regarded as spurious higher order terms
in perturbation theory, and that neglecting them leads to a good description of
the data around and above the peak in . Furthermore, we use this
study of the moments to show that at high energy the Limiting Spectrum with
Local Parton-Hadron Duality may also be derived from the Modified Leading
Logarithm Approximation without any non-perturbative assumptions.Comment: Submitted to Eur. Phys. J.,
Thermal hadron production in high energy collisions
It is shown that hadron abundances in high energy e+e-, pp and p{\bar p}
collisions, calculated by assuming that particles originate in hadron gas
fireballs at thermal and partial chemical equilibrium, are in very good
agreement with the data. The freeze-out temperature of the hadron gas fireballs
turns out to be nearly constant over a large center of mass energy range and
not dependent on the initial colliding system. The only deviation from chemical
equilibrium resides in the incomplete strangeness phase space saturation.
Preliminary results of an analysis of hadron abundances in S+S and S+Ag heavy
ion collisions are presented.Comment: 10 pages, 1 .eps figure, talk given at the Strangeness and Quark

Forward-backward multiplicity correlations and leakage parameter behaviour in asymmetric high energy collisions
Continuing previous work, forward-backward multiplicity correlations are
studied in asymmetric collisions in the framework of the weighted superposition
mechanism of different classes of events. New parameters for the asymmetric
clan distribution and for the particle leakage from clans in one hemisphere to
the opposite one are introduced to effectively classify different classes of
collisions. This tool should be used to explore forward-backward multiplicity
correlations in AB and pA collisions in present and future experiments at RHIC
and LHC.Comment: 14 pages, 2 figures, latex 2e with amsmat
Gamma(*)Gamma(*) reaction at high energies
The energy available for gamma(*)gamma(*) physics at LEP2 is opening a new
window on the study of diffractive phenomena, both non-perturbative and
perturbative. We discuss some of the uncertainties and problems connected with
the experimental measurements and their interpretation.Comment: 6 pages, 6 figures, submitted to proceedings of the Durham Collider

Electroweak Physics, Experimental Aspects
Collider measurements on electroweak physics are summarised. Although the
precision on some observables is very high, no deviation from the Standard
Model of electroweak interactions is observed. The data allow to set stringent
limits on some models for new physics.Comment: Plenary Talk at the UK Phenomenology Workshop on Collider Physics,

Tests of the Standard Model: W mass and WWZ Couplings
Recent tests of the electroweak Standard Model are reviewed, covering the precise measurements of Z decays at LEP I and SLC and measurements of fermion pair production at higher energies at LEP II. Special emphasis is given to new results on W physics from LEP and FNAL
Dijet rates with symmetric E_t cuts
We consider dijet production in the region where symmetric cuts on the
transverse energy, , are applied to the jets. In this region
next-to--leading order calculations are unreliable and an all-order resummation
of soft gluon effects is needed, which we carry out. Although, for illustrative
purposes, we choose dijets produced in deep inelastic scattering, our general
ideas apply additionally to dijets produced in photoproduction or processes and should be relevant also to the study of prompt di-photon
spectra in association with a recoiling jet, in hadron-hadron processesComment: 28 pages, 4 figure
CP-odd Higgs boson production in association with Neutral gauge boson in High-Energy Collisions
We study the associated production of a CP-odd Higgs boson with a
neutral gauge boson ( or photon) in high-energy collisions at the
one-loop level in the framework of Two Higgs Doublet Models (THDM). We find
that in the small regime the top quark loop contribution is
enhanced leading to significant cross-sections (about a few fb), while in the
large regime the cross-section does not attain observable rates.Comment: 16 pages Latex, 4 figures, figures in agreement with erratu
