Doubly heavy baryon production at polarized photon collider

We study the inclusive production of doubly heavy baryon Ξcc\Xi_{cc} at polarized photon collider. Our results show that proper choice of the initial beam polarizations may increase the production rate of Ξcc\Xi_{cc} approximately 10%.Comment: 9 pages, 5 figure

Associative production of B_c and D mesons at LHC

It is shown that the study of correlations in the associative production of B_c and D mesons at LHC allows to obtain the essential information about the B_c production mechanism.Comment: 14 pages, 10 figures. Some misprints have been removed in the last version. The reference to CTEQ pdf has been adde

Off-resonant Raman quantum memory in impurity crystals: signal-to-noise ratio analysis

© 2017 Kvantovaya Elektronika and Turpion Ltd. The possibility of implementing an off-resonant Raman scheme of optical quantum memory on the basis of an ensemble of three-level atoms is investigated under the condition of equal polarisations of resonant transitions forming the L-scheme. The developed model is used to analyse the signal-to-noise ratio at the output of an optical quantum memory device in 143 Nd 3+ :Y 7 LiF 4 . It is shown that this ratio can significantly exceed unity for single-photon input pulses. The required values of the parameters can be obtained by using an impurity crystal in the form of a whispering-gallery mode ring resonator

Anomalous Capacitive Sheath with Deep Radio Frequency Electric Field Penetration

    Get PDF
A novel nonlinear effect of anomalously deep penetration of an external radio frequency electric field into a plasma is discribed. A self-consistent kinetic treatment reveals a transition region between the sheath and the plasma. Because of the electron velocity modulation in the sheath, bunches in the energetic electron density are formed in the transition region adjusted to the sheath. The width of the region is of order VT/ωV_{T}/\omega, where V_{T} is the electron thermal velocity, and ω\omega is frequency of the electric field. The presence of the electric field in the transition region results in a cooling of the energetic electrons and an additional heating of the cold electrons in comparison with the case when the transition region is neglected.Comment: 14,4 figure

Experimental determination of interdiffusion coefficients in vapor-gas binary systems

    Get PDF
New interdiffusion coefficient values have been determined experimentally for four vapor-gas binary systems. The experimental results are accurate to 5%. The experimental data on interdiffusion coefficients obtained by a modified entropy method are generalized

© 2014 D. V. Berezhnoi et al. In work construction of algorithm of the contact interaction based on introduction between parts of designs of a special contact layer is considered. Different variants of the deformation of the contact layer, for clarity presented by two overlays, depending on the impact of the efforts of substructures at each other. A general governing equation, which is solved on the basis of physically nonlinear problem formulated. To solve the problem, a method of solving problems in increments when iteration step the unknowns are not full of the displacement field, and their increments.
