南インドの景観考（2） ―生活様式―

本稿は，南インドの近年における生活様式の動向を探るため，人々の生活の基本をなす衣食住の実状について，写真を多用し，景観の側面から行った実態報告である．貧困層を含めて多くの人々が暮らしている農村を主な対象として，「住」を中心に，「衣」と「食」を加え，生活様式の特徴と変化について考察した． その結果，農村地域においても，新しい変化が人々の生活様式の上に現れてきていることが確認，推察された．しかし貧困層も多く認められ，地域差も大きく，農村地域が一般的に大きな変化の潮流のなかにあると，断言できるほどではない．これに対して，人々の熱暑に順応するための配慮と関心から生活様式の伝統は強い流れとして存続している．とくに「住」の様式における開放性と自然との一体性とでも言うべき特徴である．この特徴は，日本農村につい近年まで存続してき た住宅様式に通じるところがあり，注目される．departmental bulletin pape

Attraction activity of mushroom water extracts for aquatic animals

Attraction activities of 30 breeds from 22 species of mushroom for the black abalone Haliotis discus, the oriental weatherfish Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, and the yellowtail Seriola quinqueradiata were examined with an attraction index a or gr of a logistic curve y = g /{1+ exp[-r(x-a )]}, statistically. The aqueous extractions of mushroom tested were to some extent attractive for the shell- and fin-fishes. Three kinds of mushrooms, ningyoutake Albatrellus confluens, kishimeji Tricholoma flavovirens, and matsutake T. matsutake attracted all the shell- and fin-fishes, and the highest activity was observed in kuritake Naematoloma sublateritium (breed- I) for the abalone, N. sublateritium (breed-III) for the oriental weatherfish, and tsukuriake Agaricus bisporus for the yellowtail. The attraction activities of these mushrooms clearly depended on the concentrations tested.departmental bulletin pape
