본 논문에서는 60 GHz 개구면 결합 패치 안테나의 기판 위치에 따른 이득 변화를 살펴보았다. 안테나 구조가 같음에도 불구하고 일정한 크기의 기판에서 안테나의 위치에 따라 안테나의 이득이 변화하였다. 이때 이득이 0.9 λ의 주기성과 5 dB 진폭을 가지고 변화되는 것을 관찰하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 일정한 크기의 기판에 안테나의 위치에 따라총 20개의 시료를 제작 및 측정하였으며, HFSS 소프트웨어를 이용한 모의실험과 측정결과가 일치함을 확인하였다. 다른모의실험을 통하여 이득의 일정한 주기 변화는 기판의 유전율과 굵기에 영향이 크다는 것을 확인하였다.22Nkc
