    아가로즈 내에 단일 세포 추적 방법을 이용한 결핵균의 신속한 약제 감수성 검사 기법

    학위논문 (박사)-- 서울대학교 대학원 : 전기·컴퓨터공학부, 2015. 2. 권성훈.In this thesis, I describe a principle and system for rapid drug susceptibility test (DST) of M. tuberculosis (MTB). In the test system, single cell of MTB is immobilized in the agarose matrix and culture media with TB drugs are diffused into the agarose. The response of single cell is observed by microscopy and the images were transformed by image processing program for quantification. In case of common pathogen, antibiotic susceptibility test comparable with standard method was performed in 3 ~ 4 hours. Single cell morphological analysis is developed to handle the heterogeneous responses of bacteria in the various antimicrobial condition and the system derived an AST result satisfying the FDA standard for new AST systems. In the final, DST system for MTB was developed which can determine the DST of MDT in one week by single cell tracking method.     EDISON_CFD, an abbreviation of "EDucation-research Integration through Simulation On the Net for Computational Fluid Dynamics", is a virtual organization designed to support the education research in fluid engineering on the e-Science environment. As the first step, our research group focuses on developing simulation software and contents based on numerical analyses. Through national research projects, many R&D results have been developed and accumulated in universities and research institutes. However, educational contents used for delivering advanced researches to inspire students still lack. Thus, development of software and contents for effective and advanced education & research is necessary. The present work aims to establish the platform of simulation softwares and contents for online education research in fluid engineering using the results of the state-of-art techniques.     Prediction of transition in Czochralski process

    A laboratory experiment was made of critical transition flow modes in Czocllralski convection. Numerical computation was also made to delineate the dynamic transition. The period of temperature oscillation (tpt_p) and the interval of temperature oscillation (Δθ\Delta\theta) were scrutinized to capture the critical transition regime. The mixed convection parameter was varied in the range of 0.134Ra/PrRe23.8040.134\le Ra/PrRe^2 \le3.804. The data from calculation were in good agreement with ones from experiment. The influence of the Prandtl number on the transition was examined for Pr = 910, 4445 and 8889. To understand the transition mechanism, the detailed temperature oscillation modes, the isolines of meridional temperature and the axial velocity profiles were investigated

    본 발명은 실리콘 단결정 제조장치 및 그를 이용한 실리콘 단결정의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 좀 더 구체적으로 본 발명은 도가니 또는 시드의 회전속도를 가변시켜 고품질의 실리콘 단결정을 제조할 수 있는 실리콘 단결정 제조장치 및 그를 이용한 실리콘 단결정의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 실리콘 단결정 제조장치는 시드회전축(1), 시드(2), 도가니(4), 히터(5), 도가니 회전축(9), 챔버(11) 및 단열층(12)으로 구성되며 초크랄스키법에 의해 실리콘 단결정을 제조하는 제조장치에 있어서, 직류발생기(31), 함수발생기(32), 전압가산회로(33) 및 스태핑 모터(34)로 구성되며 전기한 도가니(4)의 회전속도를 시간에 따라 가변시키기 위한 도가니 회전속도 제어수단(21)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명의 실리콘 단결정 제조장치는 복잡한 부대장치나 다량의 에너지 소모없이도 간단한 구성에 의해 실리콘 단결정 제조시 용융액의 온도진동에 따라 발생하는 실리콘 단결정의 띠무늬 결함을 감소시킬수 있으며, 직경이 큰 웨이퍼도 경제적으로 제조할 수 있다. 또한, 전기한 실리콘 단결정 제조장치를 사용하는 본 발명의 제조방법에 의해 간단하고도 경제적으로 고품질의 실리콘 단결정을 제조할 수 있다

    Control of Turbulent Curved Channel Flow for Drag Reduction

    A direct numerical simulation in turbulent curved channel flow is performed. The drifting Taylor-Gortler vortices are identified by applying a conditional averaging. A new algorithm is proposed based on the wavelet transform of the wall information. A continuous wavelet transform with Marr wavelets is employed to decompose the flow signals at a chosen length scale. An active cancellation is applied to attenuate the Taylor-Gortler vortices and to reduce the wall skin friction
