학위논문(석사) - 한국정보통신대학원대학교 : 공학부, 2003, [ vi, 41 p. ]The IEEE 802.11 WLAN standards adopt CSMA/CA protocol with a backoff algorithm as medium access control technique. When the number of stations which attempt to access a network increases, the network performance of the standard goes down. In this paper, we propose a modified backoff algorithm which adaptively selects the Contention Window(CW) size according to the variation of the number of contending stations and simulate the proposed algorithm using more realistic assumptions.한국정보통신대학원대학교 : 공학부
