The spatial characteristics of university selection behaviour of high school leavers, Korea
본고는 우리나라 대학교육기회의 확대 이후 대학진학행동의 지역적 패턴이 어떤 변화를 보이는지 고찰하고, 그 변화의 기저에 깔려 있는 교육행동과 노동시장의 상황과 관계에 대해 논의를 하였다. 주요내용은 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 1980년대 이후 대학교육기회가 양적으로 팽창되고 지역적으로 분산되었으나, 실제 대학진학행동에 있어서 중심지역 지향
경향은 대학교육기회가 제한적이었던 1970년대에 비해 더욱뚜렷해지고 있다. 이러한 지역패턴을 가져오는 배경으로 고용기회의 중심지역 집중 경향, 기업의 채용방식 변화, 채용기준의 상향 조정 등 노동시장의 변화와 관련이 있다. 나아가 노동시장의 단충화 현상이 더욱 심화되어 첫학교-직장이행단계가 개인의 전 생애이력에 미치는 영향력이 커지고 있음도 그 배경으로 작용을 하고 있다. 또한 대졸학력소지자의 과잉공급 하에서 출신대학의 사회적 평판은 개인의 구직경쟁력을 높이는 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 수도권에는 대학의 역사가 오래되었고 따라서 사회적 평판도가 어느 정도 확보된 대학들이 입지해있
다. 이점도 대학진학행동의 수도권 지향성을 심화시키는 한 요인으로 작용을 할 것으로 해석된다.
Since early year of 1980' s, the opportunities of higher education of Korea has been expanding and dispersed regionally. Even though it, the university choice attitude of high school leavers has shown preference for universities in core region of Korea. This attitude seems to be affected by some structural characteristics of labor market-the unequal distribution of white collar job or professional job, the sectoral and spatial segmentation of higher job market, changing recruiting practice of employer etc

Agricultural changes and regional differentiation in Seoul Metropolitan Area , 1980-1990
This study aims to identify the change in regional structure of agriculture in Seoul Metropolitan Area between 1980 and 1990. For this, changes in crop production and its spatial variation is analyzed and regionalization is conducted by crop combination method. Crops are classified into eight crop types as follows; rice, barely(including corn, millet), pulses, potatoes, vegetables, orchard, special crop and greenhouse horticulture. Crop data is obtained from 1980 and 1990 Agricultural Census and analysed at Si(市), Eup(邑), and Myun(面) scale.
Change in agricultural production do not support the tendency of agricultural degeneration in metropolitan area which some authors argue. Rather, a trend of agricultural polarization was identified: greenhouse horticulture, special crops and rice has increased in the absolute acreage and cutivated ratio, while other crops decline remarkably. And regional concentration of crop production becomes more prominent. Upland crops(barley, pulses, potatoes), orchard and greenhouse horticulture become spatially more concentrated.
The extent of crop-mix change are different in relation to distance from Seoul, traffic route and physical condition. The contiguous regions to the Seoul's edge, so-called inner fringe, have experienced the remarkable change in crop combination. In the analysis of crop combination, agricultural regions in Seoul metropolitan area are classified into five types. most of region belongs to rice monoculture type(R) or rice-vegetable combination type(RV), in 1980 and 1990, represenatively. Crop-combination type is varied in many region during this period. Region which changed into more intensive agricultural system, are concentrated in inner fringe. On the other hand, crop types of much more regions, which are distributed mainly over outer fringe or eastern zone of Seoul Metropolitan Area, change into rice mono-culture type, less intensive landuse system. In summary, agricultural change during 1980-1990 period accerlates the spatial uneven development of agriculture. It means that the spatial structure of agriculture in Seoul metropolitan area are influenced by economic, technologicla factor than physical condition

Chemical Retrofit of Ulsan Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant
본 연구의 목적은 1차 처리를 하는 울산하수처리장을 화학적 응집제의 첨가로 수질을 개선하는 것이었다. 설계당시의 BOD, COD 및 SS의 제거효율은 40 ∼ 60%이었으나 현재의 제거효율은 30∼40% 이다. 그러나 설계당시 고려되지 않았던 총질소와 총인의 제거율은 각각 30%, 3%이었다.
소량의 응집제 Hi-PAX(Poly Aluminum Chloride Silicate)를 펌프동 유입부에 주입하여 모든 항목에서 오염물의 제거율이 향상되었다. 또한 총질소의 제거효율은 3%에서 30%로 총인의 제거효율은 30%에서 90%로 증가하였다.
종합적인 오염인자인 OCP(Oxygen Consumption Potential)는 기존 1차 침전공정은 전체 오염물의 15%정도만 제거할 수 있으며 생물학적 처리는 39%, 그리고 화학적 처리는 50%내외로 처리되는 것으로 나타났다. OCP 1kg 를 처리하는데 소요되는 단위처리비용은 기존 1차 처리 공정의 33%, 1차처리후 생물학적 처리할 경우의 75% 수준이었다.The objective of this study was to upgrade the efficiencies of Ulsan primary municipal wastewater treatment plant by chemical application. But the removal of total nitrogen and phosphorous, which components were not considered at the time of design, were 30 % and 3 %, respectively.
The simple application of small amount of Hi-PaX(Poly Aluminum Chloride Silicate) to the inlet of screw pump shows enhanced removal efficiencies in all contaminants. The removal of SS increased to 80 ∼ 90% while BOD and COD to 70% and 55%, respectively. In addition, the removal of total nitrogen and phosphorous removal also increased from 3% and 25% to 30% and 90%, respectively.
The removal of integrated pollution parameter OCP(Oxygen Consumption Potential) in present primary treatment was 15%, 39% in biological treatment after primary treatment and about 50% in chemical treatment. the unit cost of OCP removal in chemical treatment was 33% of that of present primary process, 75% of that of biological treatment after present process.The objective of this study was to upgrade the efficiencies of Ulsan primary municipal wastewater treatment plant by chemical application. Nonfunctioning islet tumor of pancreas
Nonfunctioning pancreatic endocrine tumor is a rare disease without showing any specific clinical manifestations.
Indolent growth of this tumor has a prognosis in between functioning endosrine tumor of pancreas and exocrine adenocarcinoma.
We experienced a nonfunctioning pancreatic islet tumor in 59 year old male patient.
