Impulse Response Shortening for HDSL Transceiver
Get PDFHDSL 송수신 환경과 같이 다양한 선로와 브릿지 탭이 존재하는 채널에서는 왜곡된 신호를 효과적으로 보상하기 위하여 비선형 등화기법이 요구되며, 이를 위하여 결정 궤환 등화기가 사용된다. 그러나 결정 궤환 등화기는 채널의 충격 응답의 길이가 긴 경우에 효율적으로 ISI 성분을 제거하기 위하여 많은 수의 역 방향 필터 탭이 요구되며, 이로 인한 계산량의 증가와 오류 전파의 문제점을 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 문제점을 최소화시키기 위한 방안으로서, 채널의 충격 응답의 길이를 효율적으로 줄이고, 위 과정 중 발생하는 잡음전력 증폭의 정도를 둔화시켜 손실을 최소화하는 필터 설계 기법을 제시한다. 또한 이를 송수신기간의 초기 접속과정 단계에서 실시간으로 구현하는 기법을 제시하여 HDSL 송수신기를 효율적으로 구현할 수 있도록 보인다
