The Blue Ocean Strategy of Domestic Low Cost Carriers for Revitalization of Airline Industry in Korea
The domestic airline industry in Korea has been depressed by opening new highways and the high speed. The low cost carrier, which has been prevailing all around the world, was welcomed for revitalizing the domestic airline industry and increasing customer values. However, business performances of low cost airlines are not satisfactory in the all routes but Kimpo and Jeju air route. This study formulates a Blue ocean strategy as an attempt for value innovation in the domestic low cost airline industry. Based on the Strategic Canvas and ERRC Grid analyses, a few strategic alternatives are proposed such as activating Seoul Air Force Base and Korean City Air Terminal, improving the promotion to enhance the customers awareness about the safety of low cost carriers, introducing the supervisor system at the flight and maintenance, and securing latent customers in the south-east part of Seoul
Early Correction of N-Methyl-D-Aspartate Receptor Function Improves Autistic-like Social Behaviors in Adult Shank22/2 Mice
BACKGROUND: Autism spectrum disorder involves neurodevelopmental dysregulations that lead to visible symp- toms at early stages of life. Many autism spectrum disorder–related mechanisms suggested by animal studies are supported by demonstrated improvement in autistic-like phenotypes in adult animals following experimental reversal of dysregulated mechanisms. However, whether such mechanisms also act at earlier stages to cause autistic-like phenotypes is unclear.
METHODS: We used Shank22/2 mice carrying a mutation identified in human autism spectrum disorder (exons 6 and 7 deletion) and combined electrophysiological and behavioral analyses to see whether early pathophysiology at pup stages is different from late pathophysiology at juvenile and adult stages and whether correcting early pathophysi- ology can normalize late pathophysiology and abnormal behaviors in juvenile and adult mice.
RESULTS: Early correction of a dysregulated mechanism in young mice prevents manifestation of autistic-like social behaviors in adult mice. Shank22/2 mice, known to display N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) hypofunction and autistic-like behaviors at postweaning stages after postnatal day 21 (P21), show the opposite synaptic phenotype—NMDAR hyperfunction—at an earlier preweaning stage (wP14). Moreover, this NMDAR hyperfunction at P14 rapidly shifts to NMDAR hypofunction after weaning (wP24). Chronic suppression of the early NMDAR hyperfunction by the NMDAR antagonist memantine (P7–P21) prevents NMDAR hypofunction and autistic-like social behaviors from manifesting at later stages (wP28 and P56).
CONCLUSIONS: Early NMDAR hyperfunction leads to late NMDAR hypofunction and autistic-like social behaviors in Shank22/2 mice, and early correction of NMDAR dysfunction has the long-lasting effect of preventing autistic-like social behaviors from developing at later stages

Information Collection of COVID-19 Pandemic Using Wikipedia Template Network
COVID-19 범유행으로 인한 사회적 피해를 줄이기 위해 정확한 정보의 접근은 필수적이다. 위키백과는 접근성이 높은 인터넷 백과사전으로, 사용자들이 직접 편집을 할 수 있어 COVID-19와 같이 현재 진행 중인 사건에 대한 정보가 빠르게 갱신된다. 그러나 기존의 위키백과 정보 검색 방법으로는 문서 간의 관계를 포함한 정보를 수집하기 어려운 한계가 있다. 위키백과의 템플릿 형식은 높은 연관성을 가지는 문서에 선별적으로 적용되는 링크로 정보의 구조를 잘 반영한다. 이 연구에서는 템플릿을 활용하여 10개 언어 위키백과 내 COVID-19의 정보를 수집하고 네트워크 구조로 재구성하였다. 총 130,662개의 노드와 202,258개의 엣지로 구성된 10개의 네트워크 중 사용자 수가 많은 언어가 크기와 깊이가 큰 템플릿 네트워크를 가졌으며, 3홉 이내의 연결 구조 내에 COVID-19와 연관성이 높은 문서가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 여러 언어에 적용 가능한 새로운 정보 검색 방법을 제안함으로써 특정 주제에 대한 문서의 구축에 기여한다.22Nkc
Metastatic renal cell carcinoma to the pancreas: Clinical features and treatment outcome
Background and Objectives: Metastatic renal cell carcinoma to the pancreas (PM-RCC) is infrequent; we sought to describe the characteristics of PM-RCC and analyze the outcome?following treatment. Methods: Data of 3107 mRCC patients treated between 1992 and 2007 from the Korean Renal Cancer Study Group database were obtained to identify 300 (9.7%) PM-RCC patients. Characteristics and survival were analyzed and compared to the rest of the mRCC, according to the timing of metastasis and surgical treatments received. Results: PM-RCC was younger at initial diagnosis (55.0 vs. 58.2 years), more frequently in women (30.3% vs. 22.3%), and metachronous (65.3% vs. 41.9%) with a longer disease-free period (82.0 vs. 33.0 months). Overall survival (OS) was significantly better in PM-RCC but pancreas metastasectomy was associated with improved OS only among metachronous PM-RCC. In the 132 metachronous PM-RCC with pancreas metastasectomy, median recurrence-free survival was 17.2 months and we found Heng risk group (hazard ratio [HR] = 2.384, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.213?4.684), younger age (HR = 0.965, 95% CI = 0.945?0.987), shorter interval to pancreas metastasis (HR = 0.993, 95% CI = 0.986?0.999), and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status to be predictive of early progression following pancreas metastasectomy. Conclusion: Compared to the other mRCC, PM-RCC demonstrated a favorable prognosis. Pancreas metastasectomy was associated with prolonged survival in the metachronous PM-RCC with a long progression-free period
