Compared to this, it is true that for a long time not much attention was paid to safety management. For this reason, safety management is much behind cost and time management but nevertheless, not much improvement has been made. The current safety management is only focused on managing after an occurrence based on knowledge like safety standards and rules. Even though safety accident is reducing in domestic construction projects, the extent of a accident is getting greater because construction projects are getting more complex and sophisticated. Moreover, the actual loss due to accident is increasing and the severeness of a hazard is getting worse. Therefore, to improve the current conditions of safety management, we propose a more effective safety management program. This program is a safety managing method using virtual reality. Many work-related risk factors can cause construction site hazards. Considering variable and changeable characteristics of construction site, risk of same trade can be different by combination of inherent characteristics. But established safety management has performed like other industries not reflecting characteristics of construction. So, to suggest risk assessment methodology considering risk influence factors in construction site, this study extracts risk influence factors by literature reviews and surveys, builds the weightign system for classification of factors. And risk of trade is calculated based on frequency and severity of risk. Risk assessment methodology is suggested by integrating risk influence factors and risk of trade. From this, risk considering the conditions of construction sites can be derived and based on derived risk, safety management can be performed more effectively. However, there are paradigm shift from the cost and term of works to safety management in the construction industry, from this circumstance the safety management is evaluated more importantly. Though less accident happens compared to past, the accidents are getting greater because construction projects nowadays are bigger and more complex and monetary loss from the accidents are increasing. Also, the severity is getting greater and even fatal. For this reason, more improved safety management is very necessary. Therefore, we are to propose more efficient system for safety management in this thesis. Technical parts for developing system include many technique such as Real Time Locating system, and other techniques like Monitoring module based on BIM, Data Mart, Alarm are also applied together. Through this system, in the construction site, safety management is performed more effectively and widely because the system can manage the human resource and fluid situation.
