Furthermore, the current study investigated how this relationship is moderated by differential reinforcement, anonymity, and loyalty. In pursuit of this purpose, this study recruited 342 spectators of Korean professional sports games through random sampling. Participants were presented with stimulus material manipulated the type of service failure experienced (i.e., employee, physical environment, or core product). Next, participants were asked to answer questionnaire items measuring their dissatisfaction, anger, negative word-of-mouth intentions, differential reinforcement, anonymity, and loyalty. A series of one-way ANOVAs revealed that negative word-of-mouth intention differs depending on the level of dissatisfaction and anger (high vs. low) from the physical environment, service employee, and core product. In addition, moderated regression analyses showed that the moderating effect of differential reinforcement and loyalty in the relationship between anger from the core product and negative online word-of-mouth was significant. .
