Effect of Awareness (Recognition) about SNS Quality Feature on SNS Discontinuance Intention : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of SNS Fatigue

본 연구에서는 최근 페이스북의 이용 감소로 인해 발생하는 SNS 사용중단의 원인을 파악하기 위해 SNS 특성의 영향력을 분석하였다. 또한 분석 과정에서 SNS 이용 피로감이 어떠한 매개 작용을 보이는지도 살펴보았다. 이는 SNS 사용 지연이나 회피에 초점을 맞춘 기존 연구와는 달리 노출 및 평판 불안감과 관리 및 유지 부담감 차원으로 나눈 SNS 이용 피로감을 중심으로 SNS 품질에 대한 개인의 인식이 SNS 사용중단 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 한 것이다. 분석결과 SNS 품질 특성 가운데 시스템 품질 특성은 개인정보 노출과 개인 평판에 대한 불안감에 서비스 품질 특성은 서비스 관리 및 관계 유지에 대한 부담감에 유의미한 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나 SNS 정보 품질 특성은 앞선 두 가지 유형의 피로감에 미치는 유의미한 영향력이 확인되지 않았다. 다음으로 본 연구의 분석과정에서 통제변인으로 사용된 성별은 관리 및 유지 부담감에 정적인 영향을, SNS 이용 기간은 SNS 관리 및 유지 부담감에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. SNS 사용중단 의도에 영향을 미치는 변인으로는 SNS 서비스 품질 특성과 관리 및 유지 부담감으로 나타났으며, 각각 부적과 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 SNS 이용 피로감 가운데 관리 및 유지에 대한 부담감은 SNS 이용기간과 사용중단 의도의 영향 관계에서 완전 매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 SNS 서비스 품질 특성과 사용중단 의도의 영향 관계에서는 관리 및 유지에 대한 부담감으로 인한 부분매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 예측되지만 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 통해 향후 SNS 개발업자들이 SNS 이용 과정에서 발생하는 불안감이나 부담감을 줄이고, 이용자의 욕구를 충족시켜주는 서비스의 환경을 구축하는데 일조할 것으로 기대된다. This paper is aims to examine effect of SNS feature to figure out the reason of SNS discontinuance caused by reduction of using Facebook. This paper also investigates interaction of fatigue from SNS use through analysis process. This is for verifying effect of personal awareness of SNS quality to SNS discontinuance intention through fatigue of SNS use divided into anxiety of exposure/reputation and pressure of management-maintenance while previous studies focused on delay of SNS use and avoidance. The results show that the system quality feature and service quality among SNS quality feature has negative effect by anxiety of personal information exposure and personal reputation, pressure of service management and relation maintenance respectively. Meanwhile, information quality of SNS figured out that effectless on fatigue of SNS use. Nextly, the findings suggest that gender, used as control variable in this study, positively effects on pressure of management/maintenance, while term of SNS use is negatively effects on pressure of management/maintenance. This research also indicates that variables effects on SNS discontinuance intention are the SNS service quality feature and management/maintenance, negative and positive respectively. Lastly, pressure of SNS management/maintenance has perfect mediation effect on relations between term of SNS use and discontinuance intention. In the effect relation between SNS service quality feature and discontinuance intention, pressure of SNS management/maintenance also has partial mediation effect but nonsignificant. Through this findings, this study expect to help SNS developers reduce anxiety and pressure while using SNS and set up the environment of service that satisfies desire of users
