    학위논문(석사) - 한국과학기술원 : 금융공학프로그램, 2018.8,[ii, 33 p. :]Caskey and Hanlon(2013)은 미국 시장을 대상으로 감리지적을 받은 기업과 배당의 상관관계에 대해 연구한 바 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 아직까지 ‘감리지적’과 ‘배당’의 관계에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않은 상황이다. 이에 본 논문은 감리지적 기업의 배당 의사결정과 관련한 연구를 실시하여, 유사한 조건하에서 감리지적 기업이 일반 기업에 비해 배당을 하지 않는다는 사실을 검증하였다. 또한 Fama and Babiak(1968)의 모델을 이용하여 기업의 이익 변화에 대한 배당의 조정속도를 구하고자 하였다. 가설 검증을 위해 감리지적 기업과 시가 총액이 유사한 일반 기업을 대응 기업으로 삼아 두 그룹 간의 ‘배당조정속도’를 비교하였다. 결과적으로 감리지적 기업이 일반 기업보다 배당조정속도가 느리다는 결과를 찾아내었다. 이는 예상치 못한 이익의 변화에 대해 일반 기업이 감리지적 기업보다 배당을 빠르게 조정함을 의미한다. 감리지적 기업은 이익 변화에 대한 배당의 조정속도가 느렸고 둔감하게 반응하였다. 이는 회계 부정으로 인해 비정상적으로 부풀려진 회사의 이익에 대해 감리지적 기업의 경영자가 섣불리 배당을 증가시키려고 하지 않는다는 것을 의미한다. 이 같은 결론은 회사의 이익이 증가하는 구간(연도)만을 따로 분류하여 실시한 검증에서도 유의한 것으로 확인되었다.한국과학기술원 :금융공학프로그램

    An Evaluation of treatment effects of modified teuscher appliance in class II division 1 mallocclusion

    본 연구의 목적은 modified Teuscher Appliance(MTA)와 bionator를 이용하여 치료한 II급 1류 부정교합 환자의 치료전후 측모 두부방사선계측사진을 비교분석함으로써 두 장치 사이의 치료효과에 대한 차이를 밝혀내어 성장하는 II급 1류 부정교합을 가진 환자들의 치료에 도움을 얻는데 있다. MTA 및 bionator를 이용하여 성공적으로 치료한 혼합치열기 II급 1류 부정교합 환자 20명의 치료전과 치료후 두부방사선계측사진의 계측항목을 계측한 후, 두군 사이에 나타나는 치료효과의 차이를 알아보기 위해 치료전후 항목의 차이를 구하였다. 이 항목들에 대해 t-test를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 양군 사이에 통계적인 유의성이 나타난 선계측 항목으로 U1 to FH, U1 to PP, U6, to PP, U6 to FH, Ar-Pog, ramus height(S-Go), L1 to A-Pog, L1 to facial plane 등이 있었다(p0.05). 이 상의 결과를 통해 II급 1류 부정 교합을 치료하는데 있어 bionator는 주로 하악골과 하악치열에 상대적으로 효과가 크게 나타나며, MTA는 상악골과 상악치열에 더 큰 효과가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 이런 결과는 두 장치가 각기 다른 치료기전을 가지고 있으므로, 다른 종류의 부정교합에 적용해야 한다는 것을 가리킨다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate treatment effects of the modified Teuscher appliance (MTA) in early Class II division 1 malocclusion. For this purpose, treatment effects of the bionator were compared with those of the MTA. The twenty subjects who were treated excellently with bionator and MTA were selected in each group. In pre- and post-treatment lateral cephalograms, 50 variables were measured, and then the differences between pretreatment and posttreatment data of the bionator and the MTA were statistically evaluated by t-test. The results were as follows : 1. The linear measurements that showed large difference between the bionator group and the MTA group are U1 to FH, U1 to PP, U6 to FH, U6 to PP, Ar-Pog, ramus height, L1 to A-Pog, L1 to facial plane (p0.05). These results suggest that the bionator influence the mandiblar growth and lower dentoalveolar structures more than the MTA, and the MTA influence upper jaw and upper dentoalveolar structures more than the bionator comparatively in early Class II division I malocclusion

    Surface roughness and surface free energy components of various orthodontic adhesives

    치과용 재료의 표면특성은 세균 부착에 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 다섯 종류의 광중합 교정용 접착제(불소를 방출하지 않는 세 종류의 콤포지트 레진, 불소를 방출하는 콤포지트 레진 한 종류, 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머 시멘트 한 종류)의 표면특성을 평가하는 것이다. 표면거칠기는 공초점 레이저주사전자현미경을 이용하여 측정하였고, 접촉각과 표면에너지 요소는 sessile drop method를 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 교정용 접착제간 표면거칠기는 각 재료간 표면거칠기 차이가 이하로 상대적으로 적지만 각 재료 사이에 유의성 있는 차이를 보였다. Transbond XT와 Enlight는 Monolok2와 Lightbond 보다 유의하게 덜 거칠었다. 접촉각과 표면에너지 구성성분은 접착제 사이에 유의성 있는 큰 차이를 보였는데 특히 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머와 콤포지트 레진 접착제간에 접촉각과 표면에너지에서 커다란 차이를 보였다. 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머의 경우 콤포지트 레진 접착제에 비해 유의하게 작은 접촉각과 높은 표면에너지를 보였으며 콤포지트 레진 접착제보다 강한 극성, 특히 강한 염기성 경향을 보였다 본 연구는 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머가 콤포지트 레진 접착제에 비해 세균 부착에 유리한 환경을 제공한다는 것을 보여주었다. Objective: Surface characteristics of dental materials play an important role in bacterial adhesion. The purpose of this study was to investigate surface characteristics of 5 different light-cured orthodontic adhesives (1 fluoride-releasing composite, 3 non-fluoride-releasing composites, and f resin-modified glass ionomer). Methods: Surface roughness was measured using a confocal laser scanning microscope. Contact angle and surface free energy components were analyzed using the sessile drop method. Results: Surface roughness was significantly different between adhesives despite a relatively small variation (less than ). Lightbond and Monolok2 were rougher than Enlight and Transbond XT. There were also significant differences in contact angles and surface free energy components between adhesives. In particular, considerable differences in contact angles and surface free energy components were found between resin modified glass ionomer and the composites. Resin modified glass ionomer showed significantly smaller contact angles in 3 different probe liquids and had higher total surface free energy and stronger polarity, with notably stronger basic property than the composites. Conclusion: Resin modified glass ionomer may provide a more favourable environment for bacterial adhesion than composite adhesives

    Over the Past decades, the number of Patients seeking orthodontic treatment has increased markedly with socioeconomic development and change of recognition on appearance. The purpose of this study was to provide an epidemiologic data base related to the orthodontic treatment need. We could take an adequate information regarding the characteristics of orthodontic patients, and the changing trends about treatment mordality. Distrubution and treands were Investigated in 676 patients who had been examined and diagnosed at Department of orthodontics, Dental Hospital, Seoul National University from January to June in 1992 and 2002. 1. Sex distribution of patients changed from 1:2.1 to 1:1.5 (male female). 2. In 2002, are distribution had shown year-old group being the largest and percentage of year-old group were respctively. Compared with data in 1992, the number of adult patients highly increased. 3. With regard to Angle classification, each percentage of Class I, Class II div 1, Class II div 2, and Class III malocclusion were respectively in 2002. 4. Geographic distribution showed that most of the patients visited lived in northeast of Seoul in 2002. 5. Mandibular prognathism showed the highest percentage in chief complaints. The percentages of crowding and facial asymmetry were in 2002. Patients with facial asymmetry increased significantly. 6. Percentages of patients treated with fixed appliance and orthognathic surgery were in 2002. Patients needed to observe the growth pattern comprised with increasing trends. The use of chin cap reduced and the percentage of ortognathic surgery and growth observation increased significantly

    Considerations in Midface Distraction Osteogenesis Using RED (Rigid External Distraction) II System for Successful Treatment

    Midface and maxillary distraction osteogenesis (DO) can be an alternative treatement modality for the craniofacial syndrome patients and cleft lip and palate patients. Rigid External Distraction (RED) II system has more advantages in the force vector control than the other types of distraction systems. Despite of increasing popularity of RED system there is few report on the failure factors. Some considerations should be pointed out in using RED II system for successful treatment; the rigidity of intraoral splint, complete separation of bony segment, and the cooperation of patients. Orthodontists, surgeons, and patients have the same amount of responsibility for the successful midface and maxillary DO using RED II system from the beginning to the end of the treatment

    FACE MASK의 치료 효과에 대한 후향적 고찰

    The purpose of this study was to evaluate the skeletal, dental and soft tissue profile changes following the face mask therapy in growing skeletal class III malocclusion patients. The fifteen patients with the good results were selected among the patients who visited the Department of Orthodontics in Seoul National University Hospital. The mean age was 10.63(range 7.25-13.25) years and the mean treatment duration was 9.84(range 2.00-27.00) months. Lateral cephalograms were taken just before and after face mask application. After tracing the cephalograms, thirty five items(twety angular and fifteen linear) were measured. The differences before and after the face mask therapy were compared statistically by the paired t-test(p0.05). In soft tissue profile, the upper lip was positioned anteriorly(p<0.01) after treatment and approximated to the normal standards

    Long-term effects of chlorhexidine varnish treatment on microbial changes of dental plaque in orthodontic patients with fixed appliances

    본 연구의 목적은 chlorhexidine varnish를 고정식 교정장치 장착 환자의 치면에 도포한 후 나타나는 치태내 균주의 변화 양상을 장기간 관찰하는 것이다. 서울대학교병원 치과진료부 교정과에서 고정식 교정장치로 치료하기로 하였던 환자 100명중에서 32주까지 장기간 추적 (follow-up) 되었던 21명을 최종 연구대상으로 선정 하였다. 실험군(12명)은 chlorhexidine varnish를 1주일 간격으로 4회 도포한 후 고정식 교정장치를 부착하였고, 대조군(9명)은 chlorhexidine varnish처치를 하지 않고 고정식 교정장치를 부착하였다. 그리고 실험군에서는 20주 째에 chlorhexidine varnish를 1회 처치하였다. 두 군에서 고정식 교정장치 부착 직전과 부착 후 4, 8, 20, 32주의 치태내 균주의 변화 양상을 간접면역 형광 현미경법으로 분석하고 SAS 통계프로그램을 사용하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1.Streptococcus mutans는 실험군에서 전 실험기간동안 통계학적으로 유의성 있게 억제되었고 (p〈0.01), 대조군에서 전 실험기간동안 통계학적으로 유의성 있게 증가하였다 (p〈0.05). 2.Streptococcus sanguis, Streptococcus mitis, Actinomyces viscosus, Actinomyces naeslundii는 실험군과 대조군에서 통계학적으로 유의성 있는 변화를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 고정식 교정장치를 사용할 환자에서 chlorhexidine varnish를 처치할 경우 치아 우식의 주 원인균인 Streptococcus mutants를 장기간 선택적으로 억제할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다

    The purpose of this study is to analyze dentoalveolar compensation in normal occlusion samples previously classified into 9 skeletal types, and to provide clinically applicable diagnostic criteria for individual malocclusion patients. Cephalometric measurements of the 294 normal occlusion samples previously divided into 9 types were analyzed. The descriptive features of dentoalveolar variables were compared for the 9 types using analysis of variance, followed by post hoc multiple comparisons. In addition, the correlation between skeletal and dentoalveolar variables were analyzed. Discriminant analysis with a stepwise entry of variables was designed to find out several potential variables for use in skeletal typing. The dentoalveolar compensation pattern of the skeletal types varied, especially with regards to the variables that indicated the inclination of incisors and the occlusal plane. Stepwise variable selection identified four variables: AB-MP, SN-AB, PMA and ANB. Discriminant analysis assigned a classification accuracy of to the predictive model. On the basis of these results, this study could provide rudimentary information for the development of diagnostic criteria and treatment guidelines for individual skeletal types

    유한요소법을 이용한 환자별 교정시스템 구축의 기초 알고리즘 개발과 적용

    The purpose of this study is to develop the basic algorithm for the finite element method modeling of individual malocclusions. Usually, a great deal of time is spent in preprocessing. To reduce the time required, we developed a standardized procedure for measuring the position of each tooth and a program to automatically preprocess. The following procedures were carried to complete this study. 1. Twenty-eight teeth morphologies were constructed three-dimensionally for the finite element analysis and saved as separate files. 2. Standard brackets were attached so that the FA points coincide with the center of the brackets. 3. The study model of a patient was made. 4. Using the study model, the crown inclination, angulation, and the vertical distance from the tip of a tooth was measured by using specially designed tools. 5. The arch form was determined from a picture of the model with an image processing technique. 6. The measured data were input as a rotational matrix. 7. The program provides an output file containing the necessary information about the three-dimensional position of teeth, which is applicable to several finite element programs commonly used. The program for a basic algorithm was made with Turbo-C and the subsequent outfile was applied to ANSYS. This standardized model measuring procedure and the program reduce the time required, especially for preprocessing and can be applied to other malocclusions easily
