This study arises from the lack of theocratical frame works and the growing confusion concerned with multicultural practices. This is problematic because it leaves many educators and teachers in the place of uncertainty about effective educational practices. By reviewing and analyzing various literature, this study makes an attempt to develop a synthesis of multicultural education frame works that can make sense of variations among current educational practices regarding multicultural education in Korea. This study provides an overview and critique of various multicultural education perspectives such as conservative multiculturalism, liberal multiculturalism, pluralist multiculturalism, left-essentialist multiculturalism, and critical multiculturalism. This study also connect Banks(1988) 4 different approaches to various multicultural education perspectives in order to explore the dynamic relations between the theocratical perspectives and methodological approaches
