Cystic Lymphangioma of the Colon

Lymphangiomas are benign tumors of lymphatic vessels, that are more commonly found in the pediatric age group. The presence of a lymphangioma in the colon is rare. Chisholm and Hillkowitz reported the first case of colonic lymphangioma of the rectum in 1931.
