Sinsosol, meaning 'new novel' and being created mainly in 1900's. has been estimated as something with fatal weakness. It didn't prove itself an ideological value or political energy. With the exception such as The Bloody Tear(血의淚) or The Silve-Jike Snow(銀世界). almost all the sinsosols were focused on the domestic conflicts. Modernity of new ideological and political orientation couldn't be rooted in those domestic fictions. However, if the implication of modernity extended to the cultural and symbolic areas. the domestic fiction can be viewed as the product of modernity project. Sound of the Ghost(鬼의聲) clearly shows the possibility of such a revaluation
