Neighborhood Openspaces and Physical Activity Patterns: An Empirical Study of Full-time Housewives Walking and Exercise in Residential Areas

학위논문 (박사)-- 서울대학교 대학원 : 협동과정 도시설계학전공, 2015. 8. 박소현.공공 오픈스페이스는 도시민의 휴식 공간으로 삶의 질을 높이는 중요한 도시환경요소이다. 오늘날에는 차량 위주의 생활습관으로 인한 비만과 유관 질병의 비중이 높아지면서, 거주자의 신체활동을 증진하여 건강에 기여하는 근린 환경요소로서 오픈스페이스의 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 우리보다 앞서 비만이 초래하는 사회적 비용에 문제의식을 가졌던 북미와 유럽에서는 신체활동을 늘리는 도시환경 요소를 발견하는 연구가 꾸준히 진전되어 왔다. 그 가운데 신체활동을 증진하는 근린 오픈스페이스의 특성을 발견하고자 하는 연구가 활발히 이루어졌고, 연구 결과가 축적되어 구체적인 계획기법으로 활용되고 있다. 우리나라에서도 건강도시 계획요소로서 근린 오픈스페이스의 중요성을 인식하고 거주자 건강을 증진하는 근린 오픈스페이스의 가치를 밝히는 연구가 점차 늘어가는 추세이다. 그러나 근린 오픈스페이스가 신체활동에 미치는 영향 관계는 구체적으로 다루어지지 못했고, 인구당 공원면적과 같은 양적 지표나 오픈스페이스 이용자의 주관적 응답을 중심으로 오픈스페이스에 대한 평가가 이루어졌다는 한계가 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 근린주거지에서 많은 시간을 보내면서 신체활동이 부족한 집단인 30-59세 주부를 대상으로 근린 오픈스페이스의 특성이 신체활동량에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 전업주부의 신체활동 증진을 고려하여 근린 오픈스페이스를 조성하기 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적에 따라 근린계획 개념과 오픈스페이스 특성이 상이한 관악, 송파, 분당, 동탄지역에서 시행한 957명의 설문응답 결과를 토대로 근린 오픈스페이스 이용행태 특성을 알아내고, 다중회귀분석을 통해 전업주부의 신체활동 관점에서 유형별로 구분한 근린 오픈스페이스 가운데 신체활동에의 영향력이 큰 유형을 발견하고자 하였다. 또한 근린 오픈스페이스 환경이 상이한 관악과 분당에서 30-40대의 포커스그룹을 모집하였다. 7일 동안 가속도계와 GPS모니터, 통행일지를 이용해 포커스그룹의 신체활동량과 행태 관련 공간 정보를 측정하고, 이를 분석함으로써 근린 오픈스페이스가 전업주부의 일상적 신체활동을 증진하는 양상을 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 발견된 사실은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전업주부는 자녀 양육의 부담이 줄어드는 45세를 기점으로 운동을 하기 위해 근린 오픈스페이스를 이용하는 비율이 늘어났고, 그에 따라 이용 행태도 보다 자주, 자유롭게 방문하는 경향이 있었다. 이 시기는 가족 및 친구와 시간을 보내기 위해 근린 오픈스페이스를 방문하는 비중이 44세 이하 집단에 비해 절반으로 줄고 운동을 위한 방문이 두 배로 늘어난다는 점에서 근린 오픈스페이스 이용행태의 전환기라고 할 수 있다. 또한 근린 오픈스페이스를 방문하는 목적에 따라 이용 행태에 차이가 있는데, 운동을 주요 목적으로 근린 오픈스페이스를 이용할 때는 휴식적인 여가나 친교를 위한 방문에 비교해 자주 방문하며, 평일 방문의 비중이 높고 이용시간대가 더 자유롭다. 반면 휴식적인 여가나 가족 및 친구와 시간을 보내기 위한 방문은 주1회 미만의 빈도가 가장 많고 주말 오후에 방문하는 경우가 많다. 둘째, 전업주부의 신체활동 관점에서 근린 오픈스페이스 이용에 영향을 미치는 요소를 검토하고 이에 근거하여 근린 오픈스페이스를 유형화였다. 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 운동에 영향을 미치는 활동 공간과 지원 시설의 특성을 고려하고, 여기에 활동의 다양성과 안전성에 영향을 미치는 계획 특성으로서 근린 오픈스페이스의 면적과 입지를 추가하여 근린 오픈스페이스를 구분하였다. 결과적으로 복합적 성격의 오픈스페이스(대규모/중규모/ 소규모), 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스(평지형/산지형), 보행전용가로와 학교운동장으로 유형이 구분되었다. 대상지에서 각 유형들이 어떻게 나타나는지 살펴본 결과 신도시인 분당과 동탄에서는 다양한 유형의 오픈스페이스들이 이용가능한 범위 내에 체계적으로 배치되어 있었다. 반면 구릉지인 관악 지역에서는 산지형 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스가 대부분을 차지하며, 다른 유형의 오픈스페이스는 매우 적어 이용가능성에 편차가 크게 나타났다. 송파 지역에서 잠실동·신천동 연구대상지는 대규모 오픈스페이스로의 접근성이 높은 반면, 송파동·방이동은 대규모 오픈스페이스로의 접근성에 편차가 있었다. 셋째, 근린 오픈스페이스로의 근접성이 신체활동 증가에 미치는 효과는 근린 오픈스페이스의 유형과 더불어 이용가능한 범위에 대규모 근린 오픈스페이스가 존재하는지의 여부, 그리고 보행접근성에 따라 달라진다. 신도시인 분당과 동탄에서는 지구 중앙에 입지한 복합적 대규모 오픈스페이스의 근접성이 두드러지게 영향을 미치고 다른 유형의 오픈스페이스로의 근접성은 영향력이 없었다. 반면 대규모 근린 오픈스페이스가 없거나 보행접근성이 떨어져 이용이 어려운 지역에서는 평지형 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스와 중규모 이하의 복합적 오픈스페이스, 학교운동장 등 상대적으로 작은 오픈스페이스로의 근접성이 신체활동 시간에 영향을 미쳤다. 산지형 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스와의 근접성은 전 지역에서 신체활동 시간에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이처럼 같은 유형에 대해서도 지역간의 차이가 있는 것은, 신체활동에 영향을 미치는 근린 환경의 전체적 맥락 내에서 영향력이 해석되어야 함을 보여준다. 또한 산지형 오픈스페이스가 대부분을 차지하는 관악에서 신체활동 시간이 매우 낮게 나타난 것은 전업주부의 일상적 신체활동 장소로서 산지형 오픈스페이스가 갖는 한계를 보여준다. 대상지별 회귀모델에서는 기존의 지정 공원에 대한 근접성보다 유형별 오픈스페이스와의 근접성이 신체활동시간을 설명하기에 보다 적합한 변수로 나타났다. 넷째, 근린 오픈스페이스 유형에 따라 방문자의 신체활동 강도가 달라진다. 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스에서는 집중적인 운동의 비중이 높은 반면, 복합적 대규모 오픈스페이스에서는 정적 여가와 활발한 신체활동이 모두 일어난다. 개별 방문 단위로 건강에 유익을 주는 중강도 이상의 신체활동이 오픈스페이스 체류시간에서 차지하는 비중을 살펴볼 때, 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스에서는 중강도 이상 활동 비중이 높은 사례가 집중되어 있다. 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스에서는 중강도 이상 신체활동 비중이 평균60%를 웃돌며, 목적보행의 평균 중강도활동 비중이 33%인 것과 비교해 신체활동 집중도가 매우 높다. 반면에 중규모 도시공원과 놀이터·소공원에서는 중강도 이상 신체활동의 비중이 매우 낮아, 이러한 장소들이 휴식을 취하거나 자녀의 놀이를 지켜보는 등 비활동적 여가 장소로 이용됨을 보여준다. 복합적 성격의 대규모 오픈스페이스는 중강도 활동의 비중이 다양한데, 이것은 신체활동을 집중적으로 할 수 있는 장소 외에도 정적 여가시간을 보낼 수 있는 공간이 갖추어져 있어 신체활동이 선택적으로 이루어지는 장소의 특성이라 할 수 있다. 이처럼 근린 오픈스페이스 유형이 신체활동 수준에 미치는 차이는 여가시간 신체활동을 증진하는 오픈스페이스의 효용을 평가하는 데 기초적인 근거가 된다. 복합적 성격의 대규모 오픈스페이스가 부족하고 트레일 중심의 오픈스페이스가 많은 관악에서는 휴식 장소와 운동 장소가 분리되어 나타나는 반면, 분당에서는 다양한 강도의 신체활동 장소로서 오픈스페이스를 선택할 수 있는 폭이 넓다. 두 지역 공통적으로 근린에서의 순회(stroll)은 목적보행에 비해 중강도활동의 비중이 두드러지게 높지는 않은 반면, 학교운동장은 중강도 이상 신체활동의 비중이 높아 여가시간에 학교운동장을 방문한 일부 피험자들에게 집중적인 신체활동 장소로 활용되고 있음을 보여준다. 다섯째, 근린 오픈스페이스 유형이 상이한 관악과 분당 지역에서는 근린 오픈스페이스를 통한 전업주부의 신체활동 증진 방식에 차이가 나타난다. 포커스그룹 참여자 중 1주일 동안 1회 이상 근린 오픈스페이스를 방문한 사람의 비율은 관악보다 분당에서 두 배 가량 높았다(각각 30%, 58%). 또한 근린 오픈스페이스에서 일어나는 중강도활동 시간에는 지역간 차이가 없었으나(1주일 평균 관악 39분, 분당 42분), 오픈스페이스 이용집단의 평소 신체활동 수준에는 지역에 따라 차이가 있었다. 1주일간 목적보행의 중강도 이상 활동이 관악에서는 195분, 분당에서는 100분으로 두 배 가량 차이가 있다. 오픈스페이스를 이용하는 집단과 이용하지 않는 집단의 중강도 이상 목적보행 량을 비교한 결과 관악에서는 차이가 매우 컸으나(각각 195분, 98분) 분당에서는 집단 간 차이가 없었다(각각 100분, 92분). 또한 관악에서는 근린 오픈스페이스 가까이에 사는 사람들이 주로 이용하는 반면, 풍부한 분당에서는 이용 거리가 상대적으로 길었다. 결과적으로, 트레일 중심 오픈스페이스가 많은 관악에서는 신체활동에 대한 선호도가 매우 높은 소수의 사람들이 가까운 거리에서 근린 오픈스페이스 찾아오는 경향이 있으나, 근린 오픈스페이스의 유형이 다양한 분당에서는 평소의 운동성향과 관계없이, 보다 먼 거리에서도 근린 오픈스페이스를 방문하는 것이 특징이다. 여섯째, 관악과 분당 지역에서 근린 오픈스페이스로의 보행접근성의 차이는 유형별 특성으로 인한 신체활동 행태 차이를 더욱 심화시킨다. 근린 오픈스페이스가 대부분 구릉지에 조성되고, 재개발로 인해 보행공간의 연속성이 떨어지는 관악 지역에서는 신체활동에 대한 강한 의지가 있는 사람들만이 낮은 접근성을 극복하고 근린 오픈스페이스를 방문한다. 반면 보행녹도가 잘 갖추어져 있고 평지 오픈스페이스가 많은 분당에서는 신체활동에의 의지가 낮은 사람들도 근린 오픈스페이스를 쉽게 방문하는 것으로 해석된다. 결과적으로 근린 오픈스페이스 이용자의 성향과 이용 범위가 한정되어 있는 관악보다는, 근린 오픈스페이스 유형이 다양하고 접근하기 쉬운 분당 지역이 근린 행태가 참여하기 쉬운 방식으로 신체활동의 기회를 제공한다는 점에서 건강 증진을 위한 공공재로서의 효용이 크다. 일상적 신체활동을 증진하는 환경 요소로서 근린 오픈스페이스의 효용은 실제 신체활동에 영향을 미치는 구체적 요소를 바탕으로 이해되어야 한다. 단순히 면적 기준이 아니라 신체활동과 관련이 있는 오픈스페이스 공간 요소와 함께 전체적인(overall) 특성을 다루는 관점이 필요하다. 또한 개별 오픈스페이스의 특성 뿐 아니라 지역 단위에서 다른 오픈스페이스와의 관계를 고려하면서 평가하고 개선하는 과정이 필요하다. 이용자의 특성에 대한 고려도 중요한데, 자녀가 어리거나 가사에 대한 도움을 받기 힘든 여성은 시간과 장소의 제약이 크기 때문에 보다 쉽게 방문하고 가족 단위 이용에서도 신체활동이 충분히 일어날 수 있도록 근린 오픈스페이스의 시설과 보행접근성을 개선해야 참여형 저영향개발 프로세스 : 인천광역시 남구 사례연구

Since LID is a decentralized water management system, continuous community involvement and attention is important for the maintenance and management of LID facilities. Therefore, in order to make an effective plan, the planning process is needed in which the opinions of residents can be fully considered. The purpose of this study is to build the Participatory LID Process based on the framework of Geodesign which is strengthened the design process in Planning Support System (PSS) and expanded the participation of residents in the planning stage. In order to investigate the effect of the Participatory LID Process, the case study was conducted on Namgu in Incheon Metropolitan City. The Participatory LID Process was created based on literature review. The LID process of Korea Environment Institute (KEI) was reconstructed according to a framework of Geodesign. The LID Public Outreach Program of County, P. G. S. (1999) has been added to the reconstructed LID process to strengthen the participation of residents. The Participatory LID process based on a Geodesign framework consists of three times iterative processes of the six models (Representation Model, Process Model, Evaluation Model, Change Model, Impact Model, and Decision Model). The first iteration for an understanding of the site and the second iteration for setting a strategy was added into the LID Process of KEI, so that the residents can participate in. The setting of residents who participate in were members of the local government's Residents Participation Budget System Committees. The LID proposal of Namgu, Incheon was simulated according to the LID Process of KEI and the Participatory LID Process respectively. After that, the two plans were evaluated in terms of continuous resident's participation, feasibility, impermeable area reduction and localization. As a result, the LID proposal of Namgu, Incheon derived from the Participatory LID process showed improvement in all evaluation aspects compared to the LID Process of KEI. Thanks to residents providing information on local projects and local conditions suitable for non-spatial LID, the Participatory LID process can be linked to local projects to plan the application of LID techniques in stages to local budgets and residential areas there was. Therefore, a large area of the residential area, which is ambiguously described in the LID Process of KEI and difficult to apply LID techniques, is included as an impermeable ratio reduction area. This study is meaningful that the information and knowledge possessed by the residents are helpful in deriving the LID proposal that reflects the local situation through the Participatory LID process. Such residents' participation can be effective in areas where LID-related computerized data is lacking. However, there are still many challenges to actual implementation and activation of the Participatory LID process. 소아 침습성 질환에서 분리된 그룹 B 사슬알균의 유전자형 분석

학위논문 (석사)-- 서울대학교 대학원 : 의학과 소아과학 전공, 2016. 2. 최은화.Background: Group B Streptococcus (GBS) is one of the leading causes of invasive bacterial diseases in infants, and the disease risk is highest during the first three months of age. The purpose of this study was to investigate the genotypic diversity of GBS isolated from infants with invasive diseases in South Korea, and to observe the prevalence of the highly virulent clone. Method: Isolates from infants with invasive GBS diseases were collected prospectively from infants with invasive GBS diseases admitted at 4 referral hospitals from 1995 to 2015, in South Korea. Capsular serotype was determined by sequencing analysis, and multilocus sequence typing (MLST) was carried out. All GBS isolates were tested for the presence of the gene encoding the hypervirulent surface adhesin (hvgA) by PCR amplification. Antibiotic susceptibility testing was done by gradient diffusion E-test, and ermB and mefA genes were detected using PCR amplification. Results: Among the 98 GBS isolates collected, 16.3% of the isolates were early-onset disease (EOD), 69.4% were late-onset disease (LOD), and 14.3% were late late-onset disease (LLOD). Fourteen STs were foundST1 (20.4%), ST17 (19.4%) and ST19 (18.4%) were the most prevalent. eBURST analysis revealed 2 clonal complexes (CCs) and 6 singletons. Serotype III (n=50, 51.0%) was the most prevalent, followed by V (n=18, 18.4%), Ia (n=15, 15.3%), and Ib (n=13, 13.3%). Isolates of the same ST usually expressed one dominant serotype capsule. The dominant serotype capsule expressed by ST1 was serotype V, ST17 and ST19 was serotype III, and ST23 was serotype Ia. The hvgA gene was detected in 19.4% (n=19) of the isolatesall ST17 and serotype III (P<0.001). A significant temporal trend of the isolates in serotype III was observedas ST17 increased (P=0.001) in proportion, ST19 decreased (P=0.009). ST1 was a significant pathogen in EOD (43.8%) compared to LOD (16.2%) and LLOD (14.3%) (P=0.039), and was less inclined to cause meningitis (P=0.005) compared with other STs. Erythromycin resistance was significantly associated with ST1 than other STs (P<0.001), with 85% (n=17/20) of the isolates resistant. In contrast, only 7.1% (n=1/14) of ST23 were resistant to erythromycin. Conclusion: Genotype analysis helps in understanding the specific traits of strains that cause invasive diseases in infants. In particular, ST1 is an important strain causing EOD with a high rate of macrolide resistance, and manifests as diseases other than meningitis. 구릉지의 공동주택단지는 보행약자의 불편함이 두드러지는 대표적 주거유형이다. 오늘날 재개발되는 아파트의 상당수가 구릉지에 위치하며 이러한 추세가 지속될 것이라는 전망 가운데(김광중 외, 1996), 구릉지 공동주택단지를 보행약자의 입장에서 살펴보는 것은 장애인 이동권의 핵심과제인 도시공간의 연속성 확보를 위해 필요한 기본 작업이 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 보행약자의 이동을 중심으로 보행환경을 분석하기 위한 틀을 작성한 후 이를 구릉지 공동주택단지에 적용하여 문제점을 발견하고, 향후 주거단지계획에 반영할 구체적 요구사항을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다

Hilly areas, the altitude of which is defined between 40 and 200 meters, comprise approximately 32% of the City of Seoul's total area, while approximately 70% of the redeveloped apartment areas in Seoul were on gradient sites by the 1990s. As the proportion of the redeveloped apartment complexes on hilly sites is continually increasing, the goal of this paper is to evaluate these sites' walkability in order to provide better site design alternatives. The research methods utilized in this paper include GIS analysis, site observation, and interviews of both residents and site planners. The findings of this paper are as follows: First, the degree of slope within the gradient sites, the configuration of curbstones, and the facilities for vertical movement are critical factors influencing the mobility of residents on wheels; Second, in spite of the similarity between the degree of slopes and the scale of complexes, the characteristics of the walking environments within each site can considerably differ according to site design; Third, site planning aimed at creating better walking environments for the walking impaired should consider partition methods for artificial foundations, street patterns, location of vertical movement facilities such as elevators or ramps, and the arrangement of the main walking destinations; Fourth, two of the main factors affecting the satisfaction of residents on wheels are the walking distance and the location of facilities for vertical movement
