In this study, we examined the usefulness of stress coping in special-needs schools by organizing the commonalities and issues that emerged from three approaches to stress coping for students enrolled in special-needs schools with intellectual disabilities. Specifically, we investigated the use of fiber optics for students with physical disabilities, and the use of slime and progressive muscle relaxation for students with autism spectrum disorder. The results suggest the usefulness of the method in helping students cope with stress and relaxing their bodies and minds, improving joint attention, and making students more responsive to the next activity, as well as having positive effects on other activities. Future issues include the need to consider flexible teaching formats in the curriculum and the need for more information on the subject's stress indicators.departmental bulletin pape

In the teaching of independent activities at a special-needs school, students with autism spectrum disorder and students with Down syndrome worked together for a certain period of time on supine exercises, and the usefulness of supine exercises was examined from behavioral and physiological aspects through two case studies. The results showed that each student was able to interact with the other according to the other's pace, and the formation of human relationships was promoted. In addition, the practice of supine exercises was suggested to have a relaxing effect and emotional stability. These findings suggest that prone exercises are a useful tool for controlling learning efficiency and behavior. The need to verify how long the effect lasts after the start of the prone exercise program is raised as an issue.departmental bulletin pape
