Observation of Radiative Decay
We report the observation of the decay with a
statistical significance of in 78.1 \ifb of data collected by the
Belle experiment at the KEKB collider. This is the first observation
of a flavor-changing radiative decay of a charmed meson. The Cabibbo- and
color-suppressed decays , are also observed for
the first time. We measure branching fractions \br(D^{0} \to \phi \gamma)
= [ 2.60^{+0.70}_{-0.61} \stat {}^{+0.15}_{-0.17} \syst ] \times 10^{-5},
\br(D^{0} \to \phi \pi^{0})
= [ 8.01 \pm 0.26 \stat \pm 0.47 \syst ] \times 10^{-4}, and \br(D^{0} \to
\phi \eta) = [ 1.48 \pm 0.47 \stat \pm 0.09 \syst ] \times 10^{-4}.Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures, Belle Preprint 2003-24, KEK Preprint 2003-75,

Measurements of Branching Fractions and Polarization in B > K^* rho Decays
We present results of a study of the charmless vector-vector decays B^0 ->
K^{*0} rho^0 and B^+ ->K^{*0} rho^+. The results are based on a 140 fb^{-1}
data sample collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e^+e^-
collider. We obtain the branching fraction B(B^+ -> K^{*0} rho^+)=(6.6 +-
2.2(stat.) +- 0.8 (syst.)) x 10^{-6}, and set upper limits on the branching
fractions B(B^0 -> K^{*0} rho^0) f_0(980)
K^{*0})<5.2 x 10^{-6}. We also perform a helicity analysis of the rho and K^*
vector mesons in the decay B^+ -> K^{*0} rho^+, and obtain the longitudinal
polarization fraction R_0(B^+ -> K^{*0} rho^+)=0.50 +-
0.19(stat.)+0.05-0.07}(syst.).Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures, submitted to ICHEP04, Beijing, Chin
Improved Measurements of Branching Fractions for B->Kpi, pipi and KK Decays
We report improved measurements of branching fractions for ,
, and decays based on a data sample of 85.0
million pairs collected at the resonance with the
Belle detector at the KEKB storage ring. This data sample is almost
three times larger than the sample previously used. We observe clear signals
for , and decays and set upper limits on
decays. The results can be used to give model-dependent
constraints on the CKM angle , as well as limits on the hadronic
uncertainty in the time-dependent analysis of the angle .Comment: 10 pages, 1 figure, 4 tables. Submitted to Phys. Rev. D Rapid

Study of time-dependent CP violation in B0 -> J/Psi pi0 decays
We report a measurement of CP asymmetry parameters in the decay B0(B0bar) ->
J/Psi pi0, which is governed by the b->c cbar d transition. The analysis is
based on a 140/fb data sample accumulated at the Upsilon(4S) resonance by the
belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We fully
reconstruct one neutral B meson in the J/Psi pi0 final state. The accompanying
B meson flavor is identified by its decay products. From the distribution of
proper time intervals between the two B decays, we obtain the following
CP-violating parameters: S_{J/Psi pi0}=-0.72+-0.42+-0.09 and A_{J/Psi
pi0}=-0.01 +-0.29+-0.03.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures, submitted to PR
Observation of B+ to Lambda Lambdabar K+
We report the first observation of the charmless hyperonic B decay, B^+ -->
Lambda Lambdabar K^+, using a 140 fb^-1 data sample recorded at the Upsilon(4S)
resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e^+e^- collider. The measured
branching fraction is B(B^+ --> Lambda Lambdabar K^+) = 2.91 ^{+0.90}_{-0.70}
+/- 0.38 *10^-6 . We also perform a search for the related decay mode B^+ -->
Lambda Lambdabar pi^+, but do not find a significant signal. We set a 90%
confidence-level upper limit of B(B^+ --> Lambda Lambdabar pi^+) < 2.8 * 10^-6.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figures, submitted to Phys. Rev. Let
Measurements of Branching Fractions and CP Asymmetries in B-> etah Decays
We report measurements of B to pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar decays with at least
one eta meson in the final state using 140 fb^{-1} of data collected by the
Belle detector at KEKB e^+ e^- collider. We observe the decay B^+-> eta pi^+
and find evidence of B^+-> eta K+; the measured branching fractions are B(B^+->
eta pi^+)=(4.8^{+0.8}_{-0.7}(stat) +- 0.3(sys))*10^{-6} and B(B^+-> eta
K^+)=(2.1 +- 0.6(stat)+- 0.2(sys))*10^{-6}. Their corresponding CP violating
asymmetries are measured to be 0.07+- 0.15 (stat) +- 0.03(sys) for eta pi^+-
and -0.49+- 0.31 (stat) +- 0.07(sys) for eta K^+-. No significant signals are
found for neutral B->eta h decays. We report the following upper limits on
branching fractions at the 90% confidence level: B(B-> eta K^0 < 2.0* 10^{-6},
B(B-> eta pi0) eta eta) <2.0*10^{-6}.Comment: 7 pages, 2 figure
Study of B0 -> rho+-pi-+ Time-dependent CP Violation at Belle
We present a time-dependent analysis of CP violation in B0 -> rho pi decays
based on a 140 1/fb data sample collected at the Y(4S) resonance with the Belle
detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We fully reconstruct one
neutral B meson in the rho+-pi-+ final state and identify the flavor of the
accompanying B meson from its decay products. We obtain the charge asymmetry
ACP = -0.16+-0.10(stat)+-0.02(syst). An unbinned maximum likelihood fit to the
proper-time distributions yields C = 0.25+-0.17(stat)+0.02-0.06(syst), DC =
0.38+-0.18(stat)+0.02-0.04(syst), S = -0.28+-0.23(stat)+0.10-0.08(syst), and DS

rho+pi- and B -> rho-pi+ decays are A+- = -0.02+-0.16(stat)+0.05-0.02(syst) and
A-+ = -0.53+-0.29(stat)+0.09-0.04(syst).Comment: 10 pages, 3 figures, submitted to Phys. Rev. Let
Observation of B0->pi0pi0
We report the first observation of the decay B0->pi0pi0, using a 253/fb data
sample collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the
KEKB e+e- collider. The measured branching fraction is BF(B0->pi0pi0) = {2.32
+0.4-0.5(stat) +0.2-0.3(syst)} x 10^-6, with a significance of 5.8 standard
deviations including systematic uncertainties. We also make the first
measurement of the direct CP violating asymmetry in this mode.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figures, submitted to ICHEP04, Beijing and Physical Review

Observation of the decay B^0->D+D*-
We report the first observation of the decay B^0->D+-D*-+ with the Belle
detector at the KEKB e^+e^- collider operated at the Upsilon(4S) resonance. The
sum of branching fractions B(B^0->D+D*-)+B(B^0->D-D*+) is measured to be
(1.17+-0.26+0.22-0.25)x10^-3 using the full reconstruction method where both
charmed mesons from B^0 decays are reconstructed. A consistent value
((1.48+-0.38+0.28-0.31)x10^-3) is obtained using a partial reconstruction
technique that only uses the slow pion from the D*- ->bar D^0pi- decay and a
fully reconstructed D+ to reconstruct the B^0.Comment: 10 pages, 3 figure
