Examination Of The Relationship Between Psychological Resilience Levels Of Psychological Counselors And Methods Of Coping With Stress According To Some Variables

It is aimed to figure out how the relationship between psychological resilience levels of psychological counselors and methods of coping with stress differs according to some variables with this research. The sample of the study consisted of 331 psychological counselors. In the study, Short Psychological Resilience Scale, Stress Coping Attitudes Inventory/Scale (SCAS) and personal information form were used as measurement tools. The collected data were analyzed through the SPSS 25 package program. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-Test, one-way ANOVA and correlation methods. In the study, it was observed that psychological resilience and methods of coping with stress differed according to the gender and age of the counselors; that married counselors used the avoidance-isolation attitude more in coping with stress than single counselors; that, however, psychological resilience and other stress coping attitudes of psychological counselors did not differ significantly according to their marital status; that psychological resilience and stress coping attitudes of psychological counselors did not differ significantly according to their educational status; that, according to the variable of years of service, there were significant relationships between psychological resilience levels and attitudes towards coping with stress; that psychological resilience and stress coping attitudes of psychological counselors did not differ significantly according to the types of institutions; that there are significant relationships between psychological resilience and the attitudes of coping with stress, such as active planning, avoidance abstraction, and acceptance-cognitive restructuring

Mysterıes of Worshıps in Qadı Burhanadden’s Work of Ikseer As-Saadat

İksîrü’s-seâdât fî esrâri’l-İbâdât was written by Burhaneddin Ahmed es-Sivasî who is one of the most important figures of Turkish Islamic history and a scholar, sufi, poet, judge and ruler on the year h.798/m.1396 in Sivas. In this book, mysteries of the worship are explained after three complementary introductory chapters regarding the conception of being. The author first deals with the being, its nature and its reason in order to clarify the mysteries of the worship in human mind with a meaningful framework. Then he explains the mysteries of worship by means of verses from the Quran and hadiths. Kadı Burhaneddin interprets the real meanings of worship for human being with the concept of poise. He thinks that worship is the most important means that secure human being against deviations from poise. Putting forward why the religious orders are imposed is a scholarly activity and this activity is broad enough as comprising all religious decrees. Wisdoms, beauties, benefits and utilities within religious orders are known through this activity. This book which is the basic reference of our paper can be included within the scope of the science of hikmetü’t-teşrî (reason of legislation) that explains the causes behind the orders and prohibitions of the religion. University sports students’ serceptions of career value

Bu araştırma, 2010-2011 eğitim-öğretim yılı içerisinde üniversiteler arası Futbol Türkiye Şampiyonası’na katılan takımlardaki sporcu öğrencilerin kariyer değeri algılarını tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Örneklem grup final müsabakalarına katılan 8 erkek takımında yer alan 144 sporcu öğrenci ile sınırlıdır. Örneklem grubun görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla, Aktaş’ın (2004) yüksek lisans çalışması için geliştirdiği ölçek formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, frekans, yüzdelik hesaplamalar, Mann-Whithney U testi ve Kruskal-Wallis H testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, örneklem grubun eğitim gördükleri üniversite değişkenine göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Eğitim gördükleri fakülte/yüksekokul, eğitim seviyesi ve yaş değişkenlerine göre ise istatiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmemiştir.The purpose of this research is to observe the career value perceptions of the students that participated in the 2010-2011 Turkey Inter-universities Football Championship. Sample group is limited to the 144 students competing in 8 men's teams in the final. In order to determine views of the sample group a scale form which is developed by Aktaş (2004) for master studies was used. In the analysis of the data, the frequency, percentage calculation, the Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test were used. As a result of the research, a statistically significant difference was found according to the university in which the sample group train. According to the variables of faculty/high school in which they are being educated, their level of education and age, no statistically significant differences were determined

Evaluation of the Relationship of Democracy and Governance: An Empirical Analysis

Economic, social, political and technological developments have greatly influenced the field of public administration, and new paradigms have been introduced accordingly. Governance, one of these approaches, deals with controversial issues such as changing the state-citizen relationship, strengthening democracy, improving the service provision capacity of the government, and the rule of law, and are discussed at global, national and local levels. Within the scope of this study, the effect of governance on democracy is investigated. Accordingly, the theoretical claim that governance has an impact on democracy is tested with an empirical analysis using quantitative data. In order to test this claim, democracy and governance indices are analysed statistically. Based on these data, various correlation and regression analyses can be made. As a result, it has been determined that governance has a very high effect on democracy. Moreover, there is a high level of correlation and effect between the sub-dimensions of both indices

THE SCHOOL PRINCIPALS’ OPINIONS ON WORKING AS ENQUIRERS: A CASE STUDY

The main purpose of this study is to ascertain the opinions of the school principals on their assignment as enquirers. It adopted multiple case-holistic design of the qualitative research methods. The sampling was created through criterion sampling technique of the purposive sampling methods. The study group consisted of 10 school principals working in the state schools in Kemer, Antalya. The data were collected by using the semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher and analysed via the content analysis technique. The findings of the study showed that the school principals were not willing to be appointed as enquirers and considered this duty as a burden and drudgery. It was also found that they wanted to be charged since they were not paid for their services and did not regard themselves as sufficient in terms of technical and conceptual knowledge in their duty as enquirers.  Article visualizations

Cassini ovali, düzlem üzerindeki sabit iki noktaya olan mesafelerinin çarpımı yine bir sabit olan noktalar kümesinin oluşturduğu kuadratik bir eğri olarak tanımlanabilir. Benzersiz özellikleri ve geometrik profili, bu ovalleri pek çok askeri ve ticari alanda kullanılmasına imkan tanıyan üstün bir araç haline getirmiş, ayrıca analitik geometriye ve genel elips konseptinin ötesindeki matematik teorisiyle ilişkili diğer konulara yeni bir boyut kazandırmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında, Cassini ovallarinin çeşitli özellikleriyle ilgili analitik ifadeler geliştirilmiş ve farklı alanlardan örnekler kullanılarak söz konusu ovallerin uygulama alanlarına ilişkin özet bilgi verilmiştir.A Cassini oval is a quartic plane curve defined as the set (or locus) of points in the plane such that the product of the distances to two fixed points is constant. Its unique properties and miraculous geometrical profile make it a superior tool to utilize in diverse fields for military and commercial purposes and add new dimensions to analytical geometry and other subjects related to mathematics beyond the prevailing concept of ellipse. In this study we explore and derive analytical expressions for the properties of these curves and give a summary of its applications with distinct examples
