    Heat transfer in heated industrial premises with using radiant heating system

    The results of mathematical modeling of heat transfer processes in a closed air volume surrounded by enclosing constructions, heated by supplying energy to the upper contour of gas infrared radiators are represented. Regimes of turbulent natural conjugate convection in the region bounded by solid walls are investigated. Two-dimensional nonstationary problem is solved in the framework of the Navier -Stokes equations for gas and thermal conductivity for solid walls. Nonstationary processes of heat propagation in course of time and essential heterogeneity of temperature fields and heat fluxes are established

    AbstractColor bright visual effects in polyolefin layered film materials for the production of consumer goods packaging are described. A multi-color light reflection by a package of films varies in case of a light angle change, depends on a thickness and number of layers. The relation between anisotropy, crystallinity and nanostructure of polyethylene and polypropylene films and their color in polarized light is identified. The fact of recrystallization of a part of fibrils in heat treatment in the course of films duplicating which reduces the effect of pleochroism is established by differential scanning calorimetry and electron microscopy techniques. The films duplicating processes with a simultaneous marking protecting the packed production against counterfeit are suggested

    Is solved the problem of heat transfer in the closed volume, limited by heat-conducting walls, with the local source of heat emission and the heterogeneous conditions of heat sink on the outer boundaries of solution area. The problem of convective heat transfer is solved with using a system of differential Navier-Stokes equations in the Boussinesq approximation. The simulation of turbulent flow conditions of heated air is carried out within the framework to k-ε model. On the basis the analysis of the obtained temperature field and the contour lines of stream functions is made conclusion about the essential transiency of the process in question. The obtained values of temperatures and speeds in different sections of region illustrate turbulence of the process. Are investigated laws governing the formation of temperature fields in closed areas with a local heat emission source under the conditions of intensive local heat sink into environment and accumulation of heat in the enclosing constructions

Are revealed basic laws governing the heat transfer in the small environment of heat pump. The analysis of the influence of Reynolds numbers on the intensity of the heat exchange is carried out

    Numerical Investigations of Mixed Convection of Incompressible Viscous Fluid in LNG Storage with a Various Locations of Input and Output Mass

    The article shows the results of mathematical simulation of mixed convection in the low-temperature storage of liquefied natural gas with a regenerative cooling. The regimes of mixed convection in a closed area with the different arrangement of the input and output sections of the masses are investigated. Two-dimensional nonstationary problem in the model of the Navier-Stokes in dimensionless variables "vorticity - stream function - temperature" was examined. Are obtained distributions of the hydrodynamic parameters and temperatures, characteristic basic laws governing the processes being investigated. Detailed circulating currents and carried out analysis of the mechanism of vortices formation and the temperature distribution in the solution for mixed convection mode with low Reynolds and Grashof numbers (Gr=10{6}, 100<Re<1000). Is established the significant influence of the geometrical arrangement of the input and output mass sections and input stream velocity on the structure of liquid flow and temperature in the low temperature LNG storage tanks

    Is numerically investigated the process of convective heat transfer in the reservoirs of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The regimes of natural convection in a closed rectangular region with different intensity of heat exchange at the external borders are investigated. Is solved the time-dependent system of energy and Navier-Stokes equations in the dimensionless variables “vorticity – the stream function”. Are obtained distributions of the hydrodynamic parameters and temperatures, that characterize basic regularities of the processes. The special features of the formation of circulation flows are isolated and the analysis of the temperature distribution in the solution region is carried out. Is shown the influence of geometric characteristics and intensity of heat exchange on the outer boundaries of reservoir on the temperature field in the LNG storage
