How to determine a quantum state by measurements: The Pauli problem for a particle with arbitrary potential
The problem of reconstructing a pure quantum state ¿¿> from measurable quantities is considered for a particle moving in a one-dimensional potential V(x). Suppose that the position probability distribution ¿¿(x,t)¿2 has been measured at time t, and let it have M nodes. It is shown that after measuring the time evolved distribution at a short-time interval ¿t later, ¿¿(x,t+¿t)¿2, the set of wave functions compatible with these distributions is given by a smooth manifold M in Hilbert space. The manifold M is isomorphic to an M-dimensional torus, TM. Finally, M additional expectation values of appropriately chosen nonlocal operators fix the quantum state uniquely. The method used here is the analog of an approach that has been applied successfully to the corresponding problem for a spin system
A Brief Analysis Of The Rehabilitation Systems Of Children With Spastic Forms Of Motor Disorders
The article briefly analyzes the main studies in the field of overcoming spasticity within the confines of medical and partly pedagogical approaches. It was singled out the range of the main aspects that can be used as a basis for the correction of motor disorders spasmodic forms in children of early and preschool age by means of adaptive physical education from the position of pedagogy, medicine, physiology and neurology in their constituent components. The paper studies the methods of overcoming spasticity suggested by specialists of various profiles containing promising key ideas for further research. Efforts have been made to combine possibilities of medical methods of spastic motor disorders forms rehabilitation with pedagogical capabilities of adaptive physical education. Such an approach can guarantee the complexity of various forms of spastic motor disorders, which can positively affect the construction of an individualized correctional strategy and tactics in further rehabilitation work. Analyzing the literature sources, we did not find a single universal method for the complete or at least prevailing overcoming of spasticity in children and adults

A 76nW, 4kS/s 10-bit SAR ADC with offset cancellation for biomedical applications
This paper presents a 10-bit fully-differential rail-to-rail successive approximation (SAR) ADC designed for biomedical applications. The ADC, fabricated in a 180nm HV CMOS technology, features low switching energy consumption and employs a time-domain comparator which includes an offset cancellation mechanism. The power dissipated by the ADC is 76.2nW at 4kS/s and achieves 9.5 ENOB.Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad TEC2012-33634Office of Naval Research (USA) N0001414135

The Josephson critical current in a long mesoscopic S-N-S junction
We carry out an extensive experimental and theoretical study of the Josephson
effect in S-N-S junctions made of a diffusive normal metal (N) embedded between
two superconducting electrodes (S). Our experiments are performed on Nb-Cu-Nb
junctions with highly-transparent interfaces. We give the predictions of the
quasiclassical theory in various regimes on a precise and quantitative level.
We describe the crossover between the short and the long junction regimes and
provide the temperature dependence of the critical current using dimensionless
units and where
is the Thouless energy. Experimental and theoretical results are in excellent
quantitative agreement.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures, slighly modified version, publishe
