Worker-Driven Improvement of Processes in Smart Factories

This paper describes an approach to collaboratively improving processes in smart factories. It is based on the idea of a meta-process for continuous improvement that involves all stakeholders. The participation of human workers is seen as vital and is fostered using a set of technologies including wiki-based social software and the S-BPM approach to process management.
