XQOWL: An Extension of XQuery for OWL Querying and Reasoning
One of the main aims of the so-called Web of Data is to be able to handle
heterogeneous resources where data can be expressed in either XML or RDF. The
design of programming languages able to handle both XML and RDF data is a key
target in this context. In this paper we present a framework called XQOWL that
makes possible to handle XML and RDF/OWL data with XQuery. XQOWL can be
considered as an extension of the XQuery language that connects XQuery with
SPARQL and OWL reasoners. XQOWL embeds SPARQL queries (via Jena SPARQL engine)
in XQuery and enables to make calls to OWL reasoners (HermiT, Pellet and
FaCT++) from XQuery. It permits to combine queries against XML and RDF/OWL
resources as well as to reason with RDF/OWL data. Therefore input data can be
either XML or RDF/OWL and output data can be formatted in XML (also using

Cognitive Representation Learning of Self-Media Online Article Quality
The automatic quality assessment of self-media online articles is an urgent
and new issue, which is of great value to the online recommendation and search.
Different from traditional and well-formed articles, self-media online articles
are mainly created by users, which have the appearance characteristics of
different text levels and multi-modal hybrid editing, along with the potential
characteristics of diverse content, different styles, large semantic spans and
good interactive experience requirements. To solve these challenges, we
establish a joint model CoQAN in combination with the layout organization,
writing characteristics and text semantics, designing different representation
learning subnetworks, especially for the feature learning process and
interactive reading habits on mobile terminals. It is more consistent with the
cognitive style of expressing an expert's evaluation of articles. We have also
constructed a large scale real-world assessment dataset. Extensive experimental
results show that the proposed framework significantly outperforms
state-of-the-art methods, and effectively learns and integrates different

Towards Mobility Data Science (Vision Paper)
Mobility data captures the locations of moving objects such as humans,
animals, and cars. With the availability of GPS-equipped mobile devices and
other inexpensive location-tracking technologies, mobility data is collected
ubiquitously. In recent years, the use of mobility data has demonstrated
significant impact in various domains including traffic management, urban
planning, and health sciences. In this paper, we present the emerging domain of
mobility data science. Towards a unified approach to mobility data science, we
envision a pipeline having the following components: mobility data collection,
cleaning, analysis, management, and privacy. For each of these components, we
explain how mobility data science differs from general data science, we survey
the current state of the art and describe open challenges for the research

The 33rd edition of the conference list covers selected events that primarily focus on the use of technology in educational settings and on teaching, learning, and educational administration. Only listings until December 2015 are complete as dates, locations, or Internet addresses (URLs) were not available for a number of events held from January 2016 onward. In order to protect the privacy of individuals, only URLs are used in the listing as this enables readers of the list to obtain event information without submitting their e-mail addresses to anyone. A significant challenge during the assembly of this list is incomplete or conflicting information on websites and the lack of a link between conference websites from one year to the next
