Visualizing collaborative traces in distributed teams

The evolution of communication technologies provides support to the collaboration of people that work in distributed teams. Group awareness is an important requirement for activity coordination, since understanding the activities of the others provides the context for the individual own activities and gives indications on how individual contributions are relevant to the team. This poster proposes a novel information visualization technique that aims at supporting awareness in distributed teams.
