Using Dielectric Droplets to Improve Sensitivity of Capacitive Sensors Suitable for Tactile Sensing

A novel parallel plate capacitive tactile sensor design has been proposed which for the same deflection of the top electrode shows manifold improvement in sensitivity over present designs.
