Digital Media and Youth: Unparalleled Opportunity and Unprecedented Responsibility
Part of the Volume on Digital Media, Youth, and Credibility This chapter argues that understanding credibility is particularly complex -- and consequential -- in the digital media environment, especially for youth audiences, who have both advantages and disadvantages due to their relationship with contemporary technologies and their life experience. The chapter explains what is, and what is not, new about credibility in the context of digital media, and discusses the major thrusts of current credibility concerns for scholars, educators, and youth

An unprecedented 2D covalent organic framework with an htb net topology.
A 2D imine-linked COF with a hitherto unreported htb type topology was synthesized from a linear diamine linker and a judiciously designed tetra-aldehyde building block. This work opens the door to the development of COFs with unprecedented topologies and may broaden the scope of COF functional materials by pore size and pore surface engineering

Active-matrix GaN micro light-emitting diode display with unprecedented brightness
Displays based on microsized gallium nitride light-emitting diodes possess extraordinary brightness. It is demonstrated here both theoretically and experimentally that the layout of the n-contact in these devices is important for the best device performance. We highlight, in particular, the significance of a nonthermal increase of differential resistance upon multipixel operation. These findings underpin the realization of a blue microdisplay with a luminance of 10⁶ cd/m²
Schr\"odinger equation solved for the hydrogen molecule with unprecedented accuracy
The hydrogen molecule can be used for determination of physical constants and
for improved tests of the hypothetical long range force between hadrons, which
requires a sufficiently accurate knowledge of the molecular levels. For this
reason, we have undertaken a project of significant improvements in theoretical
predictions of H and perform the first step, which is the solution of the
nonrelativistic Schr\"odinger equation to the unprecedented accuracy of
. This will inspire, we hope, a parallel progress in the spectroscopy
of the molecular hydrogen
Is the UK productivity slowdown unprecedented?
We estimate trend UK labour productivity growth using a Hodrick-Prescott filter method. We use the results to compare downturns where the economy fell below its pre-existing trend. We find that the current productivity slowdown has resulted in productivity being 19.7 per cent below the pre-2008 trend path in 2018. This is nearly double the previous worst productivity shortfall ten years after the start of a downturn. On this criterion the slowdown is unprecedented in the past 250 years. We conjecture that this reflects a combination of adverse circumstances, namely, a financial crisis, a weakening impact of ICT and impending Brexit
