Towards bridging the gap between the Social and the Knowledge Level

Abstract: Within the computer system level paradigm the principles of individual and social rationality are the key behaviour laws at the knowledge level and social level, respectively. This paper illustrates how a unifying framework enables to express both the principles of individual and social rationality and numerous other behavioural laws from the perspective of an autonomous agent in a comparable manner. This is a first step in considering the vertical perspective between the social and the knowledge level in order to bridge the gap between these two computer system levels and to truly embed the social level into the computer system level paradigm
