Top LHCb Physics
We suggest that top physics can be studied at the LHCb experiment, and that
top production could be observed. Since LHCb covers a large pseudorapidity
region in the forward direction, it has unique abilities to probe new physics
in the top sector. Furthermore, we demonstrate that LHCb may be able to measure
a t\bar t production rate asymmetry, and thus indirectly probe an anomalous
forward backward t\bar t asymmetry in the forward region; a possibility
suggested by the enhanced forward-backward asymmetry reported by the CDF

Top Quark Physics
A review is presented of the current experimental status of the top quark
sector of the standard model. The measurements summarized include searches for
electroweak single top production, the latest results on the ttbar production
cross section, and searches for new physics in top quark production and decay.
In addition, the recent measurement of the top quark mass to a precision of

Top Physics in WHIZARD
In this talk we summarize the top physics setup in the event generator
WHIZARD with a main focus on lepton colliders. This includes full six-, eight-
and ten-fermion processes, factorized processes and spin correlations. For
lepton colliders, QCD NLO processes for top quark physics are available and
will be discussed. A special focus is on the top-quark pair threshold, where a
special implementation combines a non-relativistic effective field theory
calculation augmented by a next-to-leading threshold logarithm resummation with

Top Quark Physics: Summary

energy linear electron-positron colliders as presented at the LCWS2000 Workshop

Physics objects for top quark physics in ATLAS
Top quark physics measurements performed using data from the ATLAS detector
at the LHC rely on efficient reconstruction and precise calibration of leptons,
jets and missing transverse energy. A review of the techniques used to
reconstruct such objects is given, with an emphasis on the uncertainties
achieved for energy calibration and efficiency measurements, illustrated with

Top Physics at the LHC
