    Improving Knowledge Management for Better Competitive Advantage Through Strategy Execution

    Based on previous studies, the relationship between knowledge management and competitive advantage has not reached a conclusive result. Therefore, this study aims to lay a theoretical foundation for the relationship between knowledge management and competitive advantage while taking into account the mediating role of strategy execution. We utilise Resource-Based Theory and knowledge management as our basis to explore this relationship. We also propose propositions and reasoning for every relationship discussed in this study based on theories and previous studies. In the end, we provide a theoretical research model for any researchers interested in exploring this proposal in various contexts, both empirically and theoretically. We proposed a novel theoretical perspective in exploring knowledge management theory by providing this model

    Many organizations success in the strategic planning, but they commonly fail in execution. The knowledge complexity and environment uncertainty in decision making evoke that strategy is not easy to be executed. It will influence the achievement of organization objectives and organization performance onward. This research is to solve those problems and the importance of knowledge management in making the strategy execute. The knowledge management metric for measuring the performance of strategy execution is designed. This is to provide the measurement of knowledge process in solving the problems arisen in execution. The mechanism of it will be implemented in the design of knowledge management system as a tool in measuring and monitoring the strategy execution. This system also provides some services to show the stakeholders' participation and collaboration in order to face the problem in execution.
