    Integrating Technology in Online Learning Based on Computer-Mediated Communication Artificial Intelligence to Improve Students’ Achievement

    The growing percentage of fully online classes has highlighted the necessity to explore Computer-Mediated Communication Artificial Intelligence (CMC AI) in English language class. This study aimed to investigate students’ achievement and perceptions in English grammar class. It used a mix-method approach. The participants of the study were the undergraduate students of the English Education Department. The result of the pre-test mean score was 69.07, while the post-test mean score was 80.26. Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) in Test Statistics of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test shows 0.000, which is lower than 0.05. Therefore, there was a significant improvement difference of the scores of the students before and after being taught by using CMC AI. The interview and questionnaire data showed students' overall positive perceptions toward the use of CMC AI within the English grammar class. The students mentioned their positive perceptions that CMC AI can improve autonomous and fun learning. It can also be used anytime and anywhere as a private tutor and partner, challenging and enhancing resources in learning English language

    Scientific Development of Educational Artificial Intelligence in Web of Science

Metodologias activas para el aprendizaje mediante recursos tecnologicos para el desarrollo de la sociedad.The social and technological changes that society is undergoing in this century are having a global influence on important aspects such as the economy, health and education. An example of this is the inclusion of artificial intelligence in the teaching–learning processes. The objective of this study was to analyze the importance and the projection that artificial intelligence has acquired in the scientific literature in the Web of Science categories related to the field of education. For this, scientific mapping of the reported documents was carried out. Different bibliometric indicators were analyzed and a word analysis was carried out. We worked with an analysis unit of 379 publications. The results show that scientific production is irregular from its beginnings in 1956 to the present. The language of greatest development is English. The most significant publication area is Education Educational Research, with conference papers as document types. The underlying organization is the Open University UK. It can be concluded that there is an evolution in artificial intelligence (AI) research in the educational field, focusing in the last years on the performance and influence of AI in the educational processes.I+D+i OTRI-Universidad de Granada CNT-431

    The Construction of Intelligent English Teaching Model Based on Artificial Intelligence

    In order to build a modernized tool platform that can help students improve their English learning efficiency according to their mastery of knowledge and personality, this paper develops an online intelligent English learning system that uses Java and artificial intelligence language Prolog as the software system. This system is a creative reflection of the thoughts of expert system in artificial intelligence. Established on the Struts Spring Hibernate lightweight JavaEE framework, the system modules are coupled with each other in a much lower degree, which is convenient to future function extension. Combined with the idea of expert system in artificial intelligence, the system developed appropriate learning strategies to help students double the learning effect with half the effort; Finally, the system takes into account the forgetting curve of memory, on which basis the knowledge that has been learned will be tested periodically, intending to spare students’ efforts to do a sea of exercises and obtain better learning results
