Design of a smart stick for elderly people

Celem zaprezentowanego w artykule projektu było opracowanie modelu inteligentnej laski przeznaczonej dla osób starszych, która ułatwi im codzienne życie. Urządzenie zostało zaprojektowane w oparciu o wyniki internetowej ankiety przeprowadzonej na grupie 101 osób, w celu rozeznania oczekiwań potencjalnych użytkowników. Zaprojektowane urządzenie jest ergonomiczne i posiada szereg funkcji, zapewniających osobom starszym samodzielność. Dodatkowo wykonano projekt aplikacji mobilnej, która ułatwia użytkowanie laski oraz zapewnia opiekunom monitorowanie stanu pacjenta.The aim of the project was to develop a smart walking stick model for the elderly, which will facilitate their daily lives. The device was designed based on the results of an internet survey conducted on a group of 101 people so that the cane meets the expectations of future users. The designed device is fully ergonomic and has a number of functions that ensure independence for the elderly.
