Analisis Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Ekspatriat Terhadap Komunikasi Lintas Budaya Dan Job Satisfaction Karyawan (Studi Kasus Gaya Kepemimpinan Ekspatriat Di PT. Central Motor Wheel Indonesia)
This study aims to explain the expatriate leadership style adopted by expatriate itself with the influence of cross-cultural communication and its impact on job satisfaction of employees in leading local employees at PT. Central Motor Wheel Indonesia. This research is an explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Methods of data collection was done by spreading the data in the form of a questionnaire given to employees of PT. Central Motor Wheel Indonesia. The sampling technique in this study using simple random sampling, then obtained 57 samples of a total population of 130 employees of PT. Central Motor Wheel Indonesia. Data were analyzed using path analysis test. The results show there is a positive and significant relationship between leadership style on job satisfaction expatriate employees. In addition there is a positive and significant relationship between leadership style expatriate to cross-cultural communication. And lastly there is a positive and significant effect of the indirect influence of leadership style on job satisfaction expatriate employees through cross-cultural communication
Aplikasi Teori Teknik Kimia dalam Mencari Model Matematis Pengurangan Berat Tomat Selama Penyimpanan
This article is explained how to make chemical engineering concept more applicable and interesting to students through their experience in research project. The title of their project is “The evaporation rate of stored the water content of fruits and vegetables”. This research aimed to study some factors influencing the evaporation rate, to develop mathematical model describing the evaporation process of stored fruits’s and vegetables’s water content. The experiment was simple and easy. The students kept fruits and vegetables in a storage room and observed the changed in weight of them. Then, they processed data and made mathematical model to explain the behavior of weight loss during storage. During guiding students, faculty concerned with improving the competence of students.
Lecturer took students recognize their learning style. By knowing learning style, students would learn
more concepts easily. Students learned material through reading journals, textbooks and discussion
with lecturer too. The understanding in theory to formulate mathematical model and communication skill
could improved through discussion. Students managed to achieve the goal of their research. They could
communicate their ideas well and appear confident at the final project seminar
Pengaruh Gaya Komunikasi Kepala Dinas terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Provinsi Riau
This research is motivated by communication style Head of Department, acting and acting Head of Department of Fishery and marine Riau Province not yet reflect attitude of a leader, The formulation of problem from this research is how far influence of communication style Head of Department of Fishery and Marine Riau Province to Performance Employee .The methods used in this study i.e., quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in the study using a detailed questionaire. sample Determined by researchers as many as 95 people servant, the reason the author choose the Department of Fisheries and Marine Riau Province, because researchers want to see the communication style Head of Service to employees. In processing the data the author uses SPSS 17.0 program by using simple linear regression formula with the formula Ý = a + bX. Based on the research results found that Communication Style Head of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs of Riau Province influence on Employee Performance with a correlation value of 0.916. The value of 0.916 shows the correlation between independent variables (Head Office Communication Style) and dependent variable (Employee Performance) is in very strong correlation category (0,800 - 1,000). This is reinforced by the result of hypothesis test with F count> F table (676.503> 1.915).While the significance test obtained value 31.884> 0.202, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Communication Style Head of Department has a significant influence on Employee Performance. This is indicated by different results with the respondent's answer on each question item. From 44 item of question known that on communication style of Head of Department to performance of employee of each item of question answered with majority agree and strongly agree. From the determination coefficient test or R Square of 0.916 or 91.6%. This shows that the variables studied (communication style Head of Service) give effect to employee performance equal to 91,6%. Based on hypothesis testing that has been done known communication style Head of Department of Fisheries and Marine Riau Province influence on employee performance
Disfluencies in Conversation Between Student and Staff at Language Center in UIN Raden Intan Lampung (Discourse Analysis)
Conversation is the ideal form of communication. Conversation is a kind of spoken discourse that shows spontaneous communication and full of disfluencies. The disfluencies focuses on fillers, vernacular style and careful style. The aim is to find out the kinds of fillers, vernacular style and careful style used in conversation between student and language center staff in UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The analysis used descriptive qualitative by looking at the previous literature. The result shows that there are 10 fillers used by the speakers, 12 vernacular style, and 4 kinds of careful style. Those things have several functions in each utterance. Most of them to show speaker\u27s feeling, to make statement less harsh, to include the listener to the conversation, to make the simple statement, to reduce faults in making the statement and also to make the utterance more polite
Optical state engineering, quantum communication, and robustness of entanglement promiscuity in three-mode Gaussian states
We present a novel, detailed study on the usefulness of three-mode Gaussian
states states for realistic processing of continuous-variable quantum
information, with a particular emphasis on the possibilities opened up by their
genuine tripartite entanglement. We describe practical schemes to engineer
several classes of pure and mixed three-mode states that stand out for their
informational and/or entanglement properties. In particular, we introduce a
simple procedure -- based on passive optical elements -- to produce pure
three-mode Gaussian states with {\em arbitrary} entanglement structure (upon
availability of an initial two-mode squeezed state). We analyze in depth the
properties of distributed entanglement and the origin of its sharing structure,
showing that the promiscuity of entanglement sharing is a feature peculiar to
symmetric Gaussian states that survives even in the presence of significant
degrees of mixedness and decoherence. Next, we discuss the suitability of the
considered tripartite entangled states to the implementation of quantum
information and communication protocols with continuous variables. This will
lead to a feasible experimental proposal to test the promiscuous sharing of
continuous-variable tripartite entanglement, in terms of the optimal fidelity
of teleportation networks with Gaussian resources. We finally focus on the
application of three-mode states to symmetric and asymmetric telecloning, and
single out the structural properties of the optimal Gaussian resources for the
latter protocol in different settings. Our analysis aims to lay the basis for a
practical quantum communication with continuous variables beyond the bipartite
scenario.Comment: 33 pages, 10 figures (some low-res due to size constraints), IOP

The role of leadership cognitive complexity in software development projects: An empirical assessment for simple thinking
Simple thinking (or simplicity) is a way of coping with complexity. It is especially
important in the software development process (SDP), which is an error-prone,
time-consuming, and complex activity. This article investigates the role of the
thinking style—namely, simple thinking—which has been found effective in
solving complicated problems during software development. For this purpose, it
reviews and discusses simplicity issues from a general perspective and, then,
reports the findings of a survey concerning the assessment of simplicity in SDP.
The survey was conducted among information and communication technologies
senior professionals and managers from government and private-sector
organizations. Relevant hypotheses have been developed under different empirical
categories for analysis. Statistical analysis techniques were then used to draw
inferences based on these hypotheses. The results have proved simplicity to have a
significant role in the SDP to a certain extent. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc
