RENDERING WATER AND LAND INTERACTION USING A SPRING SYSTEM

    No full text
This paper describes a spring-based model for the interaction of water and land, which reconciles realism and fast rendering. The system controls the motion and interdependences of water vertices utilizing two kinds of springs and collision detection. As a consequence, a wave's movement affects the waves around it, and a wave 'hits ' the land, rebounding with a suitably changed height and velocity. 1
