Full one-loop QCD and electroweak corrections to sfermion pair production in γγ\gamma \gamma collisions

We have calculated the full one-loop electroweak (EW) and QCD corrections to the third generation scalar-fermion pair production processes e+eγγfi~fi~ˉ(f=t,b,τ)e^+e^- \to \gamma \gamma \to \tilde{f_i}\bar{\tilde{f_i}} (f=t,b,\tau) at an electron-positron linear collider(LC) in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). We analyze the dependence of the radiative corrections on the parameters such as the colliding energy s^\sqrt{\hat s} and the SUSY fundamental parameters AfA_f, tanβ\tan \beta, μ\mu, MSUSYM_{SUSY} and so forth. The numerical results show that the EW corrections to the squark-, stau-pair production processes and QCD corrections to the squark-pair production processes give substantial contributions in some parameter space. The EW relative corrections to squark-pair production processes can be comparable with QCD corrections at high energies. Therefore, these EW and QCD corrections cannot be neglected in precise measurement of sfermion pair productions via γγ\gamma\gamma collision at future linear colliders.Comment: to be appeared in Phys. Next-to-leading order QCD predictions for A0γA^{0}\gamma associated production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider

We calculate the complete next-to-leading-order (NLO) QCD corrections (including SUSY QCD corrections) to the inclusive total cross sections of the associated production processes ppA0γ+Xpp\rightarrow A^{0}\gamma+X in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Our results show that the enhancement of the total cross sections from the NLO QCD corrections can reach 1515%\sim20% for 200 GeV<mA<500<m_{A}<500 GeV and tanβ=50\tan\beta=50. The scale dependence of the total cross section is improved by the NLO corrections, which is less than 5%. We also show the Monte Carlo simulation results for the τ+τ+γ\tau^{+}\tau^{-}+\gamma signature including the complete NLO QCD effects, and find an observable signature above the standard model (SM) background for a normal luminosity of 100 fb1^{-1} at the LHC.Comment: Published version in Phys.Rev.

Higgs boson production through bbˉb \bar b annihilation at threshold in N3^3LO QCD

We present threshold enhanced N3^3LO QCD corrections to inclusive Higgs production through bottom anti-bottom annihilation at hadron colliders using threshold resummed cross section. The resummed cross section is obtained using factorization properties and Sudakov resummation of the inclusive cross section. We use the recent results on threshold N3^3LO corrections in QCD for Drell-Yan production and three loop QCD corrections to Higgs form factor with bottom anti-bottom quark to achieve this task. This is the first step towards the evaluation of complete N3^3LO result. We have numerically demonstrated the importance of such corrections at the LHC.Comment: 15 pages, 1 figur

SUSY-QCD Corrections to W±HW^{\pm}H^{\mp} Associated Production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider

We calculate the SUSY-QCD corrections to the inclusive total cross sections of the associated production processes ppW±H+Xpp\to W^{\pm}H^{\mp}+X in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model(MSSM) at the CERN Large Hadron Collider(LHC). The SUSY-QCD corrections can increase and decrease the total cross sections depending on the choice of the SUSY parameters. When μ<0\mu<0 the SUSY-QCD corrections increase the leading-order (LO) total cross sections significantly for large tanβ\beta (40\sim 40), which can exceed 10% and have the opposite sign with respect to the QCD and the SUSY-EW corrections, and thus cancel with them to some extent. Moreover, we also investigate the effects of the SUSY-QCD on the differential distribution of cross sections in transverse momentum pTp_T and rapidity Y of W-boson, and the invariant mass MW+HM_{W^+H^-}.Comment: 24 pages, 10 figures; minor changes in references; two figures and the corresponding disccusions added; a version to appear in PR

SUSY-QCD Corrections to Higgs Boson Production at Hadron Colliders

We analyze the next-to-leading order SUSY-QCD corrections to the production of Higgs particles at hadron colliders in supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model. Besides the standard QCD corrections due to gluon exchange and emission, genuine supersymmetric corrections due to the virtual exchange of squarks and gluinos are present. At both the Tevatron and the LHC, these corrections are found to be small in the Higgs-strahlung, Drell-Yan-like Higgs pair production and vector boson fusion processes.Comment: 11 pages, latex, 3 figures, numerical analysis extended, one figure and one reference adde

    NLO-QCD corrections to e+ e- --> hadrons in models of TeV-scale gravity

We present results on NLO-QCD corrections to the process e+ e- --> hadrons via photon-, Z- and graviton-exchange in the context of TeV-scale gravity models. The quantitative impact of these QCD corrections for searches of extra dimensions at a Linear Collider is briefly discussed.Comment: 10 pages, LaTeX, using axodraw.st

Nonfactorizable QCD and Electroweak Corrections to the Hadronic Z Boson Decay Rate

We present an analysis of two-loop mixed QCD and electroweak corrections to the decay of the Z boson into light quarks. We find that the naive factorization of QCD and electroweak corrections does not describe correctly the two-loop effects. The nonfactorizable corrections shift the width of the Z boson by approximately -0.55(3) MeV and increase the central value of the strong coupling constant determined at LEP by 0.001.Comment: 9 pages, Revte

W+WW^+W^- production in Large extra dimension model at next-to-leading order in QCD at the LHC

We present next-to-leading order QCD corrections to production of two WW bosons in hadronic collisions in the extra dimension ADD model. Various kinematical distributions are obtained to order αs\alpha_s in QCD by taking into account all the parton level subprocesses. We estimate the impact of the QCD corrections on various observables and find that they are significant. We also show the reduction in factorization scale uncertainty when O(αs){\cal O}(\alpha_s) effects are included.Comment: Journal versio
