Guide to Transitional Jobs Program Design
This Guide to Transitional Jobs Program Design is an introduction to the essential components of the Transitional Jobs strategy. It includes an overview of the target populations for and goals of the strategy, descriptions of each program element, and best practices for implementing those elements based on research evidence and the experiences of practitioners in the field. This guide can be used as a planning resource by organizations that are interested in starting a new TJ program, or by existing employment programs seeking to fully adopt the TJ model according to evidence-based principles. This guide can also serve as a concise but comprehensive introduction of the TJ strategy for funders, policymakers, employers, and others
Biodiversity Offset Program Design and Implementation
Biodiversity offsets are applied in many countries to compensate for impacts on the environment, but research on regulatory frameworks and implementation enabling effective offsets is lacking. This paper reviews research on biodiversity offsets, providing a framework for the analysis of program design (no net loss goal, uncertainty and ratios, equivalence and accounting, site selection, landscape-scale mitigation planning, timing) and implementation (compliance, adherence to the mitigation hierarchy, leakage and trade-offs, oversight, transparency and monitoring). Some more challenging aspects concern the proper metrics and accounting allowing for program evaluation, as well as the consideration of trade-offs when regulations focus only on the biodiversity aspect of ecosystems. Results can be used to assess offsets anywhere and support the creation of programs that balance development and conservation.TU Berlin, Open-Access-Mittel – 201

From research to program design
"This paper summarizes findings from a formative research study conducted in Haiti to develop a behavior change communication (BCC) strategy to improve infant and child feeding practices and to reduce childhood malnutrition. It describes the methodology used and the tools developed to facilitate decisionmaking and effective use of formative research for program planning... The study used formative research methods that included individual and group interviews, food-rating exercises, and participatory recipe trials. The aims of the study were to (1) study current infant and young child feeding practices in the Central Plateau of Haiti, (2) identify individual, household, and community factors that may facilitate or constrain adoption of recommended behaviors, and (3) use the information from the formative research to prioritize behaviors and design an effective BCC strategy." from Authors' Abstract

Rental Application Program Design Dvd Rental 'Mydisc "Using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0
In this scholarly writing explain about the making of the DVD leasing application program by using Visual Basic 6.0 programs consist of the login form Main Menu, the form customer, the form Rental Transactions and Customer Reports form can be printed. Then, making this application utilizing Microsoft Access database on the facilities and work under windows operating system to facilitate in making this program Lease is an agreements in which the tenant must pay or provide compensation or benefits from the objects or goods owned by the owner of the loaned items. Example of a lease in everyday life such as office building contract hire, lease land for agricultural land, hire / charter vehicles, rentals vcd and dvd original, and etc
Program Design Snapshot: 12-Month Continuous Eligibility
Calls for wider implementation of a state option allowing children to maintain Medicaid or State Children's Health Insurance Program eligibility for a full year, even if their family status or income changes. Lists issues to consider as well as resources
Computer program simplifies design of rotating components of turbomachinery
Digital computer program performs stress analysis and burst speed calculations on rotating axisymmetric turbomachinery components. The computer printout contains the displacement of each nodal point, the stress at the center of each element, the average tangential stress within the component, and the burst speed
Computer program for the design of axial-flow turbines
Computer program, capable of analyzing single and multispool units, computes absolute and relative flow fields within the turbine at the first stator inlet, at each interblade row plane, and at the final rotor exit. No simplifying assumptions are made which would result in restrictive design
